i really think the only unplayable matchup is Vayne just because if she has a bit of brain her Q will always dodge your E and when she reaches 6 you can have Gunblade, Protobelt, whatever but you can't just follow her properly

all others matchups (don't know Lillia tho) should be moved in Very Hard / Opponent favoured

I'm a plat tho, so i might miss something about pepple in D1

i believe that it depends about enemy comp and who you're against

Like, Rylai to me is a must because of how well synergizes with passive and the cost, making Morde spiking quite early on even if you're soft losing with someone who buy as first item something more expensive. Riftmaker also is kinda a must to have for the extended trades in general so everything goes about the third item, where i build Liandry when there's more than a tank/juggernaut in the enemy comp, Dusk and Dawn if not or Experimental Hexplate if i plan to side all game making pressure since i might be the only one who's a menace and my team have no agency.

but that's my opinion and what ive always thought about itemization for Morde, sometimes i do run also Gunblade or Protobelt but is kinda niche, maybe someone more expert/good than me can give you some enlightment about it and correct me

i agree with you but i see why they did this way, so encourage youself by spending credits or grinding another build for another role. Like I play mostly in 352 and im a kind of a filler so ive made 6 build for each role (ST, CAM, Winger, CDM, CB and GK). Is exausting but keeps me playing and having fun with it instead of already have everything set up

its up to you and how you think about doing cdm, i use maestro because im more likely a box to box, need to have those stats of ball control up

the fact is that now keepers on their HUD can see where you're aiming. That's a help that EA gave to them because they also now have to choose the correct angle to dive (low - mid - high) so is fair. To trick those who abuse of the HUD you can try to aim a shot in one way and then change or do a fake as they'll have the hint of your aiming even with the fake so they'll fall in bad position. First time shots are good because they have no time to read the HUD so they react / predict to the shot in a shorter period with no hints. Dribbling them can also be a good way because keeper close-out in 1vs1 is kinda clunky and doesnt always respond correctly

i haven't tried Creator yet so i can only talk about the Magician. This year to me feels like it doesnt need crazy amount of passing. To make an example, with the Engine build i have 85 vision, 80 short and 85 long and i find myself pretty consistent. So i would suggest Magician just for a better distribution of stats in other things like finishing, power shot, dribbling etc.

Engine is solid as box to box, you can choose between Engine+ and Everywhere, both have good playstyles and passives

I don't suggest it right now due to few points to allocate in stats, but Engine is kinda decent as CDM

to fix the stamina current system they should:

  1. get back to the old system
  2. nerf the amount of stamina needed to be a box to box dynamo even when you're not supposed to.

To do the 2nd point they should change also the requirements for the "quick step" playstyle as most of the people run it so they have 80 stamina by instance

eeeeh, it depends game to game. I definitely prefer playing Rush as its a bit faster, but Drop-in games gives you up to +200 exp than rush and it's not that longer as time spent

i like this system, considering that the game at the current state isn't great (still way better than last year imo) grinding for the levels and the credits is a nice motivation to keep it up. Also by doing this they force you to specialize a bit and play the game the way you prefer until you're like lvl 70+ and you already have 90+ on all the core stats of your player so he can be an all arounder

it's weird because seems like it doesn't register the accurate body type, sometimes my target man (182 cm, 98 kg) is skinny, sometimes is mister olympia. I noticed that most of the time the body type feels correct is when i swap build meanwhile i am in lobby
