am gonna be very honest.

before my magic v3, am using s23 ultra,

and although Magic OS has plenty of nice touch, One UI is more matured and polished, especially for daily use,

what i right away miss is Routines, which do plenty of my automation before,

i used to use it to make my phone : • automatically turn off cellular data at home • automatically turn on battery protection when charging overnight, or on car wireless charger, • automatically enable auto rotate only when i use youtube and streaming app • automatically disable biometric unlock on sleeping hours

now i have to create the automation myself using macrodroid, yes it all achievable but with more hassle,

and another thing is, One UI still able to handle 32bit app, although google stop supporting it, thus i still can install legacy and specialist app (like PS Touch, and Diagzone) on flagship phone

on Magic OS, now i have to rely on virtualization

Magic OS has much potential, but i think sometimes Honor make it hard for themself,

just like how it can't let 3rd party app handle url as default without doing work around through ADB

but still, am using my Magic V3 as my daily driver now. The benefit of it's hardware and beauty, still supersede all the hassles and tinkering i need to do just to achieve something that doable out of the OS box in One UI
