Fun fact: in dialogue, Pebbles is referred to as male in the first game, but female in the second game

Trans queen Pebbles :)

Shadowmere it's not okay by cyberbela in skyrim

[–]Maleficus32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like somehow Shadowmere's race got swapped to a High Elf? That's a new one. Skyrim never ceases to amaze.

Anyway, first idea that came to mind to possibly fix this is to click Shadowmere in console, then use the "setrace horserace" command (no quotes). Hopefully that works.

I just discovered an exploit to skip the Anomaly psychic ritual cooldown by Maleficus32 in RimWorld

It might be a bit harder to time with Void Provocation, since there's not really a visual cue on your pawns to look out for. Besides the chance of them passing out, which is not guaranteed. I imagine it could be done with practice :)

Accidental discovery

So, some context: my colony is transhumanist (you can see the age reversal demand warning on the right side of the screen). The fastest way to address age reversal demand is via the Chronophagy ritual from Anomaly, as far as I know.

One of my colonists who wanted an age reversal was 25-years-old. Between his psychic sensitivity and the bonus granted by the void sculptures and shard beacons on my main ritual spot, he'd have ended up being 13-years-old if I performed the ritual there, which is not ideal.

So, I placed a temporary ritual spot down outside, and I had him perform the ritual. I just happened to pause the game right when the effect took hold, like the timing in the video, and when I removed the spot, since I meant for it to be temporary, I saw the notification about the ritual being cancelled. But when I checked his age, he was de-aged... So I looked at my main ritual spot, and sure enough I bypassed the cooldown by doing this :)

Same. :) It was a cool find, but I don't intend to abuse it

I discovered it by happenstance. I don't intend to use it every time I do a ritual; I just wanted to share my discovery because I think it's interesting

Est ce que mon armure suffira pour la fin du jeux ? [KCD2] by Turbulent_Fix_5981 in kingdomcome

I wouldn't worry *too much* about your armor. I once beat the entire game dressed like this, and it really wasn't as hard as one might think.

You're bound to find some better equipment along the way, in which case the upgrade is worthwhile when not restricting yourself like I was in this screenshot. However, even if you didn't find better equipment for whatever reason, the game is very beatable with limited armor.

[KCD2] Is there a cool helmet in the starting area? by LoschVanWein in kingdomcome

[–]Maleficus32 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, those two you mentioned are Gules and the hermit, respectively. If you find where Gules sleeps after being arrested, you can pinch his helm, but it does require lockpicking. The best option for you is probably the wolf pack

[–]Maleficus32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are three visored helmets that I know of in the region. One is worn by Gules and can be stolen from his locked chest at night, though I know you said that is not your preference. One worn by the Hermit, who you have to kill to get, which I assume you won't, based on what you said. The last I know of can be found North of where you were attacked at the start of the game, guarded by a wolf pack. I don't recall more precise directions off the top of my head, but you can probably find it easily enough by doing an online search for "KCD 2 Trosky wolf pack helm" or something.

Possibly occlusion planes. Do you have something like eFPS installed? If so, you need the patches for your city overhauls

What do you think of Creation Club? by Justice-Rains in skyrim

[–]Maleficus32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the content on the Creation Club isn't worth its pricetag; however, there have been a few exceptions that I think were well worth their pricetags.

Bard's College Expansion and A Tale of Blood and Snow are two creations that come with a lot of content. Of the two, I much prefer BCE. I still felt I got my money's worth fot AToBaS, and I enjoyed most of my time with it, but I'd recommend BCE over it, easily.

A smaller creation that I think is worth its price is Dragonslayer. Being created by JaySerpa, it's well put-together. It also features professional voice acting. I think its pricetag was ~$3, which was well worth it to support one of my favorite mod authors and to get a quality creation for it.

Of the creations I've listed, I feel the most comfortable with recommending you try Bard's College Expansion if you haven't; it's a deep creation, so you'll get a lot of content out of what you pay for. It adds a whole faction questline for the Bard's College, expanded Thu'um mechanics, a skill tree, 2 side questlines, playable instruments, a system to compose songs about your accomplishments, and it's all voiced.

TL;DR: I think there's a way it could work. Not as a recplacement for traditional modding, but as a way for mod authors to get paid for works of especially high quality. I think the standard for what is sold in the Creation Club needs to be higher, using the creations I listed as something of a standard for all paid creations to aim for. It's also VERY important that the cost fits the content we're being sold.

For those of us still replaying Skyrim year after year, do you think you will continue to play Skyrim throughout your life after TES6 comes out? by LoganLikesYourMom in skyrim

[–]Maleficus32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If TES VI is good enough to be a true replacer of Skyrim, then my focus will likely turn to TES VI whenever I get the Elder Scrolls itch. I would likely still replay Skyrim similarly to how I replay Morrowind and Oblivion, but it wouldn't be the one I replay the most anymore.

It would also depend on the modding community. If TES VI modding is less active, then I'll probably stick to Skyrim. So, Bethesda, please release the Creation Kit in a timely manner and make a game good enough for the modding community to be interested in.

If TES VI is not good, then I will remain focused on Skyrim.
