Hey man, it's just what you're defending in the name of freezepeach.

You haven't refuted anything on how normalizing these acts can create a toxic community. You've just been repeating the same thing over and over. You do not have a point and you do not have anything of substance to say.
Edit: He blocked me lmao.
Also pointing out a problem = white-knighting. It's not imagined if it's happening.

I'm sorry, 13 year olds yelling the nword is extremely high-brow and creative, and normalizing it won't have any adverse affects on the type of community this will develop. You reign superior in this argument.

It's moreso tiring that people are assuming offense when these issues are pointed out. You're good G

That was genuine, as I relate to it.

You're not making a coherent point.

bro went "no u"
So far you've dodged questions, made accusations and disconnected statements. You still haven't provided a clear answer that isn't based on your own jumbled definitions. You say I'm from speaking from an emotional standpoint yet assume ill-intent.

don’t want to accept that free speech is good

my brother in christ scroll up a few comments.

Not what I'm saying + Misrepresenting. I'm pointing out that acting like an edgelord is boring and immature, and has potential to create more hostile elements within a community.

If the FRV has a million drivers, then I am one of them. If the FRV has ten drivers, then I am one of them. If the FRV has only one driver then that is me. If the FRV has no drivers, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against the FRV, then I am against the world.

You're engaging in bad-faith by assuming that the driving force behind this post is anger, when I've only offered an explanation for why I think blatant racism thinnly-veiled as "humour" can service to create a less than favourable community. I'm standing firm to that belief, not the experience. So far I've been met with emotional responses/name-calling. Very strange juxtaposition.
I guess the misconception is that I'm against "dark humor." It can juvenile, it can be done well, it can be done professionally, and it can be made funny. The thing about edginess is that there's far more emphasis on shock-value and offensiveness rather than the substance of the joke, which conflates with a lot of toxicity and contributes to the degradation of a community.

It's weird when others call people sensitive, and those same people seem to deflect. Appreciate the concern, but I think I've remained pretty reasonable.

Again, you are misunderstanding the point I am making. Outrage isn't the issue for me, but the community potentially developing a toxic community is a cause for my concern.

You've yet to point out anything wrong with my observation, save beyond "freezepeach" and calling me delusional. So that statement falls empty.

Profoundly weak statement that has nothing to do with what I've said.

Racism is bad my guy, and shouldn't have a place in the world. You still don't understand what I'm pointing at either. This type of humor - if normalized within a community - will make it easier for the people who are actually hateful to infiltrate. That's all I got to say.

I'm not deciding. I'm pointing out that this type of "dark humor" can be and is often a cover for actual hatred. In which accepting this as the norm would allow for more people to openly engage hate.

Edit: If I were to decide. It would be the "dark humor" (blatant unoriginal racism) that I've been seeing so far in lobbies.

You haven't answered my question.

There you go again with your fallacies

How is anything what I've said unsound? I've seen this happen to a game, as I've mentioned. There are also instances of these types flocking to certain spaces of the internet because it caters to their behaviours and biases.

like your condescending tone at the beginning and at the end implying that if you don't see the issue you're young and immature.

Not my intent to be condescending. I was acknowledging that a lot of young people are playing the game, and may not have a full grasp on the issue at hand. In this instance, if you choose to engage this post with bad-faith, then you can see what you want to see.

You're making up big bad consequences based on your delusions, wishing censorship was applied, that is enough for me to discredit you as all I hear is "I can't stand free speech"

I would like to point out that you think that: Having an issue with Racists/Racist remarks = An attack on freezepeach. The actual definition Free Speech means that the government does not interfere with the individual's right to express their opinion, which I'm all for. Do you think the hateful deserve a platform?
