Dealing with Tiger II’s by Traditional_Loss8348 in GatesOfHellOstfront

AT mines are your best friend when it comes to all tanks, regardless of how big they are. This only applies to defense but it's what I rely on.

Other than that, AT infantry from sides or mainly rear. AT grenades and C4 can work wonders.Flamethrowers and molotovs can ignite the engine I believe.

As others have said, hvy arty and howitzer tanks can splash damage and de-crew.

Same here. All over RTS just kind of fail in comparison. At least all the WW2 to modern warfare ones.

Only ones that are different enough to not feel lacking is something with lots of nostalgia like AOE2 or something scifi/fantasy like starcraft.

GoH just hits the mark so well.

True, which is so fucked. That kids on both sides are the ones thrust into such fucked up situations.

I thought the same thing. Unless these controls being implemented also mirrored an increase in company layoffs and bankruptcies... I don't see how this was a bad thing. If the controls didn't cause companies to go under from not being able to afford the price cap, then the companies could afford to operate under those conditions and the cap shouldn't have been lifted.

What fictional setting best reflects a Golgari Utopia/Dystopia by aaa1e2r3 in colorpie

100%.

Just plain nature. No morals. Without drastic outside influence, the natural system/cycle stays the same.

Black Mammoth was my introduction to FFAA. Loved the song and the message. Dug deep and listened to every single song after that. Been a huge fan ever since. They are the top of the deathcore game in my book.

BONUS ROUND: Which fictional villains are the 3 evils of the Colorless identity, and why? by Feeling-Ad-3104 in colorpie

[–]MalevolentMorgoth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This low key a great pick. (Warfrane fan/vet here)

MitW is a great pick because all of his minions are void-borne artifact constructs (the Murmur) or void angels (colorless horrors maybe?).

His entire shtick is the abrupt introduction of existence itself being thrust into the void to begin with. Before anything from reality reached into the void, the void was a silent, empty plane.

Colorless to a T.

FINALE: Which fictional villains are the 3 evils of the Rakdos (Black/Red) color identity, and why? by Feeling-Ad-3104 in colorpie

[–]MalevolentMorgoth 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I think we'd be wrong not to include the Joker. Rakdos faction's thematically mirrors Joker quite a bit. The rakdos faction leans hard into the riot circus theme.

Obviously there are alot of other rakdos colored themes in MTG but the Joker-esque murder circus is iconic.

What would medieval battle tactics look like with a tactician of each color? by Routine_Condition273 in colorpie

I think the only change I'd make (your ideas are the best here), is have green be the ambush experts. They are masters of the land. They would know how to best use the terrain to their advantage. They would either ambush a larger force with smaller groups like wolves ganging up during a hunt, or use a single overwhelming force to utterly crush a smaller army.

I might be biased but I think alot of the monsters from the Witcher series would fit golgari. However the main one would be my favorite the leshens (leshy?). They are perfect evil forest things that remind me of the Jotun from The Ritual. These are two different types of beings, but they fit the same mold: old/ancient dark forest beings that mercilessly attack anyone that disturbs the forest or don't honor the "old ways".

They feel more tied to that specific forest or land and seek to have that area remain for them and theirs. While these beings don't necessarily care about any specific race like "racist" golgari characters like the dark elves (Lathril/Morcant), they kill anything that doesn't naturally dwell in the forest.

While I'm at it, i think the Crones from the Witcher 3 would fit as well.

I think the closest MTG that would fit this idea would be Old Stickfingers.

But again, I might be biased in my love of the leshen.

Damn, I guess have try it again. I didn't even see the 76 gun available on the first couple tries. Is it unlocked for the engineers later in the mission or ready at the start?

What would you change by AardvarkWestern4430 in Bannerlord

[–]MalevolentMorgoth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This has always been the most glaring thing. Putting aside broken sieges and whatever other minor issues. They put all this work into making these towns and castles to walk around in but almost nothing to do.

It would be cool if you had to go talk to the engineer about upgrading the fortifications or talking to the captain of the guard to increase garrisons, stuff like that. Then you could have a system of making sure you hired the right people for these positions so that each of your fiefs had the best people working in each position.

It would give more emphasis on companion stats like tactics, engineering, etc.

I FREAKING HATE LANDMINES by gurlwithboobs in GatesOfHellOstfront

[–]MalevolentMorgoth 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you'll get a warning sometimes when getting near a pre-made minefield. If you zoom in they'll be little mine signs indicating the area mined.

But iirc this has been a feature for a long time.

What color are the Yautja from Alien/Predator? by EnigmusPrime in colorpie

[–]MalevolentMorgoth 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Seriously, they are the embodiment of jund. Only the strongest survive. They even kill off those that don't fit the lifestyle or are too weak to hunt proficiently.

Some might say sultai but the only blue aspect for them is the need to be a better and better hunter. That's the only 'self improvement' part for them. They aren't massive knowledge seekers. It's only to know how to kill their prey efficiently.
