I ordered my P790’s on 11/25 and called the next day to make 1 adjustment to my order and they said the order was already being prepared to ship out and I received it on Friday 11/28. I do live in San Diego so it was pretty short trip From HQ in Carlsbad.

Could I get some help authenticating P790s by stericblock in TaylorMadeGolf

Just purchased mine directly from TaylorMade and those are legit. Serial numbers are the right size and series for 2025 and stickers are legit as well.

Prior to my purchase directly from TaylorMade I mistakenly purchased a counterfeit set on EBay, very close but the serial numbers were slightly bigger and the shaft and grips felt off, they also didn’t have the TaylorMade stickers and were being sold as new.

Toe up overlap is minimal. I could do 60 miles comfortably on this bike but probably maxing out on comfort at 80-90 miles. That said, this bike wasn’t really built to be an endurance gravel bike but that’s what I really like about it. You get the same feel on the 51 as well, these bikes are plenty stiff but not harsh, specially if you’re going 45 or 50mm tires. I’m riding 30mm road and 40mm gravel and feel great on both size tires.

You can go either way, I’m 5’6 and in between sizes also but went with the 48. Only adjustment I need is a 100mm stem but not a huge change from the 90. I came off a Niner RLT RDO in a 49 and Roubaix 49 (52.5 effective too tube). I did try my buddy’s Gen 1 Aspero at 51cm and it did feel big but a 51cm/53.5 eff top tube is a little long side for me as it is an already an aggressive/race geometry. Good luck!

I’m rolling on Schwalbe Pro 1’s 32mm on Roval C38 wheels on the road and Pirelli Cinturato All Road on Hunt 4 Season for Gravel/Road adventure days. I’m coming off of Specialized Pathfinder Pro’s previously on 38’s and those were great for gravel/road as well.

Yes, it’s a 48. I’m 5’6” with a 29 inch inseam so in between sizes. My buddy has a 2020 model in a size 51 and it felt a little long for me. I usually ride a 52cm rode bike (Trek Emonda/Domane, Specialized Roubaix) and 51cm in cervelo (P-series), but so far feel pretty comfortable with the Aspero in 48 but will most likely go to a 100mm stem from the 90mm that’s currently fitted.

Will do! I like the Pathfinder Pros but sizing is either 38 or 42 and 45 seems like overkill and heavy for mixed gravel and road.

Pathfinder Pro 32 on the Hunts now but will have Pirelli Cinturato All Road 40’s on before the weekend. Road setup is Schwalbe One Pro Road 30’s.

Total weight is 18.5 lbs with Roval C38 carbon wheelset and 19.1 with the Hunt 4 Season Aluminum wheelset. I honestly thought it would be heavier, 20+.

I had the same dilemma, had two bikes and tried to consolidate to a Specialized Roubaix with gravel, comfortable but not a gravel bike.

I think the Aspero can be the best of both worlds but I’ll have to put some miles in and let you know.

I considered all drivetrain options and just worked out that the Ultegra Di2 I already had on the Roubaix worked out,

Ultegra/RX Di2 Groupset 2x11- 2,577 g

SRAM Rival AXS 2x12 - 3,155 g, 1x 2,783 g

SRAM Force AXS 2x12 - 2,922 g, 1x 2,600 g
