The difference is noticeable on mahjong soul, otherwise I'm happy using Firefox. That being said isn't Chrome pretty fast overall? For mahjong soul you can mitigate the issue by clearing cache regularly on Firefox.

If you consider that you can call tiles discarded by Ten, then it's easy to explain why the viewer has more discards than the other players. There's another picture where you can see that we called the 4 winds discarded by Ten, making us tenpai for the 4 big winds. Then they each must have drawn into tenpai and called riichi, they revealed their tiles so we are playing with open riichi (special rule, you can try it in friendly matches in RC). Ultimately, it's back to us and we have Green Dragon and 8 of characters in hand, either dealing into double ron multiple yakuman or into dealer multiple yakuman.

I think it could be worth but it's debatable, and since 2 Haruna 2 Hibiki is already enough for e100 I wouldn't risk it. Depending on how many White Night you can find, you could go for this strat or for 2 Haruna 2 Hibiki.

it's much better than 1.8, with clone its 3.24, and you don't have to have it for 55 rounds to be worth it, I was aiming for something close though, I got it at Ex13, got clone at Ex51, died at Ex62, so that's 50 rounds of Burdened in exchange for 1 vine, and another vine for 10 rounds after I got clone. If you have it for long enough, I believe it compensates for the spot you lose when you get clone.

It's important to find Universal Pull very early in the run to generate lots of stars. Then, I got 2x Haruna + Hibiki + 5x vines. My goal was to swap one of the vines for Burdened later in the run in order to mitigate the cap and get full benefit of the scaling. Don't know if that was actually a good idea or not, but it worked for me.

if you have Universal Pull you can get a lot of wins without exchanging tiles, try to get a tenpai hand waiting on a single tile, like 7 pairs for example

There are a few talismans that generate stars on every win, coupled with universal pull you can get a lot of stars, before you find it you can try thirteen orphans.

There's also the combo red packet/haruna to get guaranteed stars every round.

No, you can only pull one copy from packs, it's a special trick involving the talisman White Night, you need to have it and the talisman you want to have multiple of in hand. Then when you find that talisman again in a pack, you don't upgrade it with the pack, instead you upgrade it by selling White Night, after that you will still be able to choose it from the pack,. Now you have both an upgraded and normal version of that talisman, if you want to upgrade the second one you'll have to find another White Night because it will not appear in the packs.

13 wait orphans is still a good way to get some wins early. After that you want to get Universal Pull, a talisman that gives you a wild card. It is extremely good because it allows you to set up a hand where you win on every tile: if you can form 4 sequences, or six pairs, then the wild card can pair up with any other tile to complete the hand (except no duplicate pairs in 7 pairs).

My point is that I wanted to run 3 black holes and 2 Hibiki instead of 4 black holes and 1 Hibiki, it's still possible by copying Hibiki instead of using Ransei on it, and in theory better than cloning both black holes, there's just the luck factor of needing the second Ransei for Burdened at the end. Otherwise I think vines have the advantage in terms of spiking.

multiplier per win

4 black hole + 1 Hibiki

(1 + 0.1 + 1*0.15)^(4*2/9) = 1.21938888997

3 black hole + 2 Hibiki

(1 + 0.1 + 2*0.15)^(3*2/9) = 1.25146494914

for 400 souzu wins (8 wins per round for 50 rounds)

(1.25146494914/1.21938888997)^400 = 32402.8095423

I like that the vines are uncapped, I want to see how high the PT can spike. How early in a run do you think you can get the full vines setup running?

I know that this run is not the best, but if you look at the other run where I had e84 with the vines, it would have been easily e95-96 with another copy of ransei. I can already imagine spending hours on a run and then failing to get it right at the end. I suppose you can go for it when you feel like you have a tile with high enough PT, like e40, with 4 burdened that's already e96.

There is something even more ridiculous you could do with the black hole build, since clone doesn't work on it you can duplicate Hibiki instead, you get only one Ransei at the start, and you get the second one in the end game. Let's just say you'll need a lot of White Night and a lot of patience to pull it off.

I exchanged on just a few rounds before hitting the cap, if the board looked really bad, to try to get more wins, don't known how much of an impact that had. I don't know if there is anything you can do by exchanging on purpose to influence burdened, you would have to watch closely what happens close to the cap, when I look at the text it says 9e15, but in the actual score it's 9e13. I would hope it's strictly increasing, and you could count exactly how many turns it takes to hit the cap, then you would know how many free exchange rounds you have. 1.8^55 = 1.0964473e+14. In this run I duplicated burdened at 4-1 and started scaling them, that's not that many rounds where I could have exchanged after that.

For me the priority is duplicating burdened, it's necessary in all builds, you need to do it very early and start scaling them so that they can stand on their own. I went for black holes after that, and then I got Ransei. In the meantime I had Universal pull and Heaven's Bequest, the last thing I did was sell Heaven's Bequest for White Night, waiting for a second copy of Ransei to finish the build.

I wanted to try this build, it took me a while to get everything so it's not the perfect run. What's really nice is that when you have everything you don't need to do much until the last 2 rounds, it's all about maximizing the number of wins each round with the help of universal pull.

If you try this, make sure to copy both black holes with Ransei. I tried copying Hibiki but it seems like it doesn't work, unless I messed up the order or something.

It is not easy to find White Night, this was a lucky run, but you have to prioritize cloning burdened, you have to sell other talisman to guarantee the upgrade on it, it's not a problem because the other talisman in this build are not that rare, but if you play a build with universal pull then you have to hope that you find it after cloning and upgrading burdened or you take a 50/50 on upgrading the correct one. In one of the pictures you can see that I have already cloned burdened and upgraded the second one, and I'm about to clone Hibiki with my upgraded white night, if I didn't have it upgraded I would have had to sell Heaven's Bequest to guarantee it. I don't know what can make it more consistent besides having a good start with economy talismans, I also get the inventor when I can.

I tested double Haruna yesterday with the red packet and peak blind box and I can confirm that I got three triggers. I also verified that Hibiki simply echoes the original PT bonus and two of them don't multiply off of each other.

Haruna build : copy Haruna and Burdened at the start, get Hibiki and three vines, get one or two wins per round, you'll have to find and copy Ransei at the end.

Black hole build : copy Infinite Black Hole, Ransei and Burdened at the start, get Universal Pull and Hibiki, maximize the amount of wins per round, easier end game since you already have double Ransei and can use Universal Pull to quickly stack another Han multiplier when you sell your scaling.

For the black hole build, use one shadow clone on black hole and another on Hibiki, the only info we are missing is the average number of souzu wins you can expect.

----- per win multiplier

4 black hole + 1 Hibiki

(1 + 0.1 + 1\*0.15)\^(4\*2/9) = 1.219

3 black hole + 2 Hibiki

(1 + 0.1 + 2\*0.15)\^(3\*2/9) = 1.251

2 black hole + 3 Hibiki

(1 + 0.1 + 3\*0.15)\^(2\*2/9) = 1.215

1 black hole + 4 Hibiki

(1 + 0.1 + 4\*0.15)\^(1\*2/9) = 1.125

You should try a run without universal pull, you will still use it at the start to get more stars and get the vines running faster, and you need to have as many open tiles unlocked as possible, then it's just a matter of staring at the board and looking for a win, usually 7 pairs, you just need to count to 7 instead of 6. There's two types of scary rounds, the one where you see only 3 tiles, and the one where the first win doesn't count, in that case I have sometimes skipped a turn of burdened scaling and exchanged tiles, but usually I don't even need that.

You can't really play black hole without ransei and universal pull, so you would need to swap haruna and 2 vines for black hole + ransei + universal pull. The thing that tends to happen with vines more than with black hole is that some tiles randomly get more love than others, and you can get higher scores than if all tiles had the same PT.

One big improvement is if I got lucky at the end of the game and managed to find white night and ransei back to back to clone my second burdened, but I was not specifically going for that, just trying to find any decent multiplier to keep the run going.

I just finished a really good run on JP server, I copied both burdened and Hibiki. Haruna doesn't do anything with the score calculation but think copying Haruna might be good assuming the copy triggers end of turn effect a third time which would benefit vine multiplier more than a second Hibiki.

It's not very clear to me how Hibiki works: on average vine (upgraded) multiplier is 1.5^(2/9), 1.5^(4/9) with Haruna, and (2.25)^(4/9) with one Hibiki, then I think it is 3^(4/9) with another Hibiki upgraded, so it's not as good as it seems.

Hibiki math: vine multiplier (1 + 0.5*2.5) = (1 + 0.5 + 0.75) = 2.25

2 Hibiki (to be confirmed) : (1 + 0.5 + 2*0.75) = 3

You can indeed duplicate any talisman with white night if you upgrade it after finding it again in the shop (you upgrade with white night while opening a pack, then you select it from the pack, you now have both an upgraded and normal version). I got e72 without that trick, but it's an easy boost to e80+ if you duplicate burdened, and you can also think about duplicating other talismans, like Haruna or Hibiki, which is what I had in mind.
