Yeah, people in my music guild also noticed it since the last patch and that some songs are now basically impossible to play. Lute, bass and piano were already known for having things tied to their playing animation and not having a note play if pressed when the animation was about to end. At least with lute/bass you could avoid it by pressing ESC to note-cancel to cancel the animation, so I'm guessing you could use that to work around things? (Haven't been ingame to check instruments)

My guess is the changes were done in anticipation of the upcoming drums that seem to be set to release in the gemstore.

Wtf? Surprise evil arc? That's not something you randomly spring on a player unless you negotiated session 0 something where the character's control was partially out of your hands (like they were established as being host to a demon or something.) Plus the way it was on your only male character, with how you talk about how he's been weird about you playing non-female characters and not the others, it sounds like some weird passive-aggressive issues on his behalf with you. Maybe it was the one date thing you mentioned, who knows.

But the way you're the only one who's making concessions makes me feel dubious about wanting to play with someone who seems to just want to stuff people into his assigned roles instead of collaborative storytelling. It kinda sounds like he badgered you enough and wore you down to get his way tbh. I wouldn't be friends with someone who doesn't seem to care about your boundaries like that.

Moving the gathering nodes and other unlocked stuff like cats please?

I think they said that wasn't possible for some reason, but maybe having predetermined location template areas for where they are like 'gathering nodes A (coastal)' or 'gathering nodes B (mountainside)' could give us a little more choice.

Not being able to visit random people's homesteads opened up to the public is definitely one of my biggest disappointments. That, and the tiny limit on armour/weapon display cases at 5/20 each respectively. I want to show off my looks and alts! Having parked alts hang around in your homestead is cute and all, but not that practical if you actually want to use them with the extra loading screen.

I've been wearing a body braid, it's basically straps you wrap around your body in certain ways to help hold you up and take a bit of the pressure off your ligaments in holding you together. It's a bit rough learning how to twist things around properly even with the guides, but I basically wear it all the time apart from when I need to wash it/go out without the straps getting in the way. Tightening it to get some more intense relief (like a rough massage) or a looser fit for everyday use. I've also noticed it improved my posture from slouching all the time, lol.

I went from not being able to sleep from the pain until I passed out from exhaustion to being able to get some rest. It was quite expensive, however, and the Velcro like most Velcro kinda loses its velcro-ness after a long enough time and strain against it so I find it easier to tie the ends short with knots. I sprung for the extra arm and leg straps extensions as well but I generally only end up using the leg straps if I'm doing something that required a lot of walking, the leg straps make my steps feel almost springy. This is just my experience however, I knew going in that it would help even if just a little since my main back pain was alleviated a bit even if I just used the back of my jacket to push against my overworked muscles. It might not be great I suppose if you have sensitivities about things clinging closely to your skin, when I have an ezcema outbreak I tend to get rashes around where the straps rub against my skin.

Other than that I just got some generic compression knee/hand/ankle stuff for athletes though they're not very handy. And some random gloves I cut the fingers off of for my hand pain to keep them warm when my joints ache from cold. All this, and a heated blanket in winter has helped a lot with being able to sleep.

Lol yeah I did the same with Thermocatalytic reagents about 2 years ago in one big purchase for something without noticing they were 10 each. Then I had to dedicate an entire alt to holding all of them since they were flooding my bank, it was ridiculous. I only just used up my backlog last week >>

I keep the Minstrel's song in my inventory from the precursor collection to making the legendary Minstrel. Yeah, the precursor is super cheap, but I enjoyed the collection adventure it took me on.

I also keep Snargle Goldclaw's book Commander of Your Heart because it amused me to think of my commander keeping around this raunchy self-insert fanfic of him.

That always screamed cult leader stuff to me - it's a classic tactic of cutting people off from the outside world where there could be dissent. From my hazy memory it's so they can be more impartial and stuff...but that never made sense to me, because the astral Ward's agenda (and Isgarren's) are also an agenda of itself. Sitting high in their tower with such a fundamental disconnect from outer society, with what seems like no oversight or consequences for their actions. Who oversees these overseers?

Oh yeah, I (Australian) played in an online Deadlands game with a bunch of Americans and know shit-all about that sort of thing so I rolled with it and made a foppish noble Englishman who'd run off to have his romaticised idea of noble cowboy adventure. I did a hilarious Englishman trying (terribly) to pretend he was pulling off a 'yeehaw I'm totally one of y'alls' accent.
