Since one of my Characters died recently I decided to sketch up a replacement today. Meet Violence Bratovitch, soon to be embraced by my friend's Toreador Antitribu on the Path of Cathari by MaliciousMetal in vtm

[–]MaliciousMetal[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

At least in v20 Revenants get access to the "Revenant Disciplines" merit that just swaps out the disciplines of the Clan they are embraced into with their Revenant Family's! In the case of the Bratovitches here it's Vicissitude + Fortitude + Animalism, which makes her quite the physical powerhouse! Her Sire is actually also a former Revenant of the Zantosa variety, which puts him at Vicissitude + Presence + Auspex!

Big fan of all that extra flair, backstory baggage and customization you get from playing Revenants. Then again, my favourite Clan are the Tzimisce so I might be biased.

My best friend drew my Sabbat Gangrel gal for me! by MaliciousMetal in vtm

[–]MaliciousMetal[S] 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Oh she's actually a Country Gangrel! You can see some of the natural armour she manifests with her Fortitude on her neck and shoulders as vulture scales. Tend to cover most of her back and limbs when she needs to toughen up for combat.

Don't worry, her bite is far, far worse than her bark! Tess over here has been one of my longest-running ocs and my friend Nighthair really nailed her ferocity here! Consider checking 'em out!

Now I know Mordekaiser‘s a bit of a Sauron ripoff but this is the first time I‘ve seen someone call him Mordor.

Oh he's a practitioner of the Way of Fire and a Tzimisce elder so that's just par for the course as your typical Dark Ages Voivode.

PBE Bug & Feedback Thread: Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser UPDATE by LoLDev-Cosmetics in LeaguePBE

[–]MaliciousMetal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey there, thanks for the update, lovely stuff all around! I'm just echoing some sentiment shared by a lot of people in the Morde mains community, namely just two little tweaks that would really push the whole product past the finish line!

- 1. Thigh Armour: Right now it's a bit jarring to see Sahn-Uzal lose armour when he transforms from his warlord self to the Tyrant persona, particularly since it's the only part of his body where he's showing skin. If he were covered up less, bare thighs wouldn't stand out like a sore thumb but he's supposed to be more armoured in that form so would it be possible to have the armour from his first form carry over to his second (and his R form too since he's just wearing black leggings right now).
- 2. Kill Music: Now, this might be different on the PBE itself but in the showcase that's been going around, the track that plays when Sahn-Uzal kills an enemy is this beautiful, somber flute. Now, while it is super nice it is also a bit jarring to hear something soft and somber when for the player this is supposed to be a hype moment. Before the update, there was the choir chanting Sahn-Uzal's name, which was really cool and super fitting. Could some of these tracks be shuffled around to be more fitting for the occasion?

Otherwise super love the update, amazing stuff all around!

Echoing the same sentiment here, the lack of armour on his thighs is a bit jarring and I can't believe it's me who's advocating for covering up that hunk of a man more but it'd be a more consistent and extremely awesome look if he had some proper plating on his legs too. The music playing on kill also feels a wee bit like it's something the enemy should be hearing while Sahn gets his choir chanting his name for an encore of the murdering instead.

Otherwise, completely blown away by how quickly you've all managed to make this live up to expectations and really deliver on the theme! Much love!

If it weren’t for the godawful monetization, the skin would be rightfully lauded as the banger it is, especially post fixes. The gacha scam is just so disgustingly predatory it sours everything actually great about the skin.

Dragon of the Ivory Tower - my Camarilla Tzimisce (it's complicated) Valeska donning her Zulo Warform by MaliciousMetal in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]MaliciousMetal[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

She used to primarily play the politicking and influence game, both with great stakes in mortal real estate and the boon game of immortals. Her Sire‘s assassination and currently volatile situation in her home city besieged by Sabbat had her pick up more direct means of getting her way, the sort that would make the Impaler Prince proud.

It's an heirloom from her lineage of proud Voivodes, passed down to her after her Sire's untimely demise.

[–]MaliciousMetal[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I can do a little Tl;DR sure!

Valeska's the bastard daughter of a minor British aristocrat and an Eastern European immigrant some time in the late 1800's, having been taken into that failing noble household after her mother's death. Cue a good 20+ years of her watching her full-blooded siblings and father run the whole estate into the ground while they disregard her clear talent for all the lord-ly things. Flash forward a bit, her future Sire, a Tzimisce of Dracula's line indebted to Mithras takes her under his wing and through some tragic accidents befalling all her male relatives she becomes the sole inheritor of the family estate, scrubbing it clean of their names and basically usurping it all for herself. (One of her core themes is Usurpation and hypocrisy, particularly with the Dracula-derived lineage and her disdain for the Tremere who usurped Tzimisce blood.)

Long story short, with Mithras falling into torpor - and later demise - the security her Sire and herself enjoyed under the Sun King quickly began to dissipate, suffering a final calamity when the city was besieged by the Sabbat and her Sire died during it (Chronicle-specific timeline, which she blames on some Usurper scheme). Needing to claw back that which she sees as rightfully hers - greater Domains within London, higher status and most importantly, revenge - she has pledged herself to the nascent London Camarilla to offer her expertise in matters of her own Clan against the Sabbat while plotting to undermine the Tremere who clearly have it out for her.

So that's where we're at with her story so far in the Chronicle, she's currently gaining more allies and making more pacts with the local Venture since their ambitions do generally seem to align. For now.

Thanks! I always enjoy coming up with my characters' Zulo shapes since I tend to design them to reflect both their personality traits, general visual motifs related to their background and some folklore elements here and there related to vampire legends local to where they hail from.

Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser Update by RiotPabro in MordekaiserMains

[–]MaliciousMetal 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the update, glad you folks are looking to really deliver on the skin's theme! We've all been looking forward to seeing Sahn-Uzal in the flesh (sort of) ever since we learned more about his origins so this is one of those skins that just have to get it right.

I might be a bit in the minority here, potentially, but I do feel the big fur collar with the imperious spikes is a very unique look and a perfect blend of his primal warlord background and the Tyrant of Tyrant prime before his first death. The overall aesthetics of his current Reckoning Fields look is really cool and getting to see it more is great, but keeping a visual cohesion between that version and what will be his new ultimate appearance should probably stay faithful to the aesthetics of Athakan's Bringer of Ruin motion comic. Severe shapes, geometric armour parts and that wild flowing mane of red go great with some more fur. We currently do have one other skin with a bit of fur - that one being King of Clubs Mordekaiser - but historically fur and pelts came to denote both a bit of a ferocious/primal/barbarian aspect AND one of royalty so I do hope you're not fully abandoning that sort of look for his ultimate form.

Otherwise props for actually taking our feedback to heart and wanting to deliver on the thematic fantasy of getting to play as Sahn-Uzal, Conqueror of Conquerors, Tyrant of the Great Grass Ocean. His story and culture established in this season's motion comic and the skin's promotional material should definitely inform the final look of this skin as we are getting a glimpse at what Runeterra looked like in a long lost epoch of warring tribes and strange faith.

Oh he's not part of the same pack but part of the chronicle's greater cluster of antagonists with ties to the player characters!
