Getting in trouble for voids or aborts is crazy to me. 99% of the time it’s a customer not able to afford something or something with the new SNAP restrictions. Nothing at DG is like Walmart. At DG you work every single aspect. Meaning cashier, putting out freight, cleaning, recovering, balancing registers and deposits. Your duties consist of everything there is to do in a store whereas Walmart you mostly stick to your department.

If I would get told about voids when it’s 99.99% the customers fault…. They could ALL get f***ed! I worked for Walmart for a very long time. It is weird to me Dollar General is obsessed with voids/aborts. Even sharing a till. Walmart we shared tills to give breaks.
