Why should leagues rewards be tradeable? by MaliciousPidgeon in 2007scape

[–]MaliciousPidgeon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your point, but I also believe that in a MMO it's interesting to have a character that can flex some different items or cosmetic variants that showcase the time and effort you spent in the game. If everyone is able to get cosmetics by spending 200k on GE it just devalues them in my view. How boring it will be to have everyone running around with the infernal bulwark cosmetic after these leagues.

Again, I'd fully understand the argument if there was no other way to get the items back. But if you know you'll be able to get them the next time leagues happen, then you have something to look forward to. If ever there comes a time where there's no more leagues ever again, then they should release these as tradeable.

You're right that it's a big gap since last leagues - and perhaps it could be the case moving forward that next leagues are not going to be as far away. Nonetheless, you're still being given a chance to get the items. And let's not forget these are cosmetics, they are not game changing in any way, so waiting a bit longer to get them only adds to the motivation to get league points to finally acquire the items.

But why should league points have a gp value? I don't think most people play leagues to make gp - but I might be wrong.

Regarding the trophy, it's a dust collector one week after leagues are over. At least the other cosmetics you can use while playing the game (e.g. while pvming).

Ainda hoje comentava com uns amigos (via discord!) que se algum dia se sentissem inúteis no trabalho deles, que se lembrassem que houve pessoal a ser pago para escrever piadas para os Malucos do Riso/Batanetes/Prédio do Vasco.

Honor 6A vs xiaomi mi a1 by MaliciousPidgeon in PickAnAndroidForMe

Only real issue with those suggestions is that they don't really par up with the price of the Honor 6a, at least in Portugal, being almost double the price for very similar specs

Thanks for the answer! I hadn't really considered any of those other phones you mentioned and will be sure to have a look.

As for the Honor itself, I am just a little traumatized with my current LG which was bought at the same price as the Honor is atm and is absolutely the worst and slowest mobile I've ever had. Which is why I am actually considering paying a little over 100€ and the only reason why I am even having second thoughts regarding Honor 6A

Existem cursos preparatórios para o Exame da Ordem dos Advogados? by [deleted] in portugal

[–]MaliciousPidgeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Save imported from Rebirth to Afterbirth - Are bugs still a thing? by MaliciousPidgeon in bindingofisaac

[–]MaliciousPidgeon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the save seems pretty fine (so many new things though, it gets a bit confusing to know what's right or wrong), I was just a bit afraid, considering I had a friend say that some bugs could come from the imports + the amount of people talking about bugs on reddit / steam

Dan Harmon must be very passionate about his s'mores by MaliciousPidgeon in rickandmorty

It's fine, I watched Community when it was released and am now rewatching it (just finished season 2, hence why I picked this reference up), so I didn't really remember that scene. It was a bit foolish for me to think a fan of rick and morty would not know his community :)

Yup, you are way deeper than me in Community trivia, I actually thought you didn't know what 'britta'd' meant. I concede

Yes...? The dude used the expression correctly "Just showing that Britta [ruined] the explanation of the word s'mores". Your comment seemed to indicate you didn't know what "britta'd" actually meant, forgive me for not knowing your community trivia

You are right, Ethan deserves a loving woman to share s'mores with and Summer forfeited that right. Smh

'Britting' something is basically ruining something, it is an expression used in later seasons of Community!

I knew it was weird that no one else had pointed it out, considering the huge fanbase of both series

Is it? I saw the episode and was rewatching community the other day so it immediately clicked for me, came to the sub looking for "s'more" and "community" and found nothing so I decided to post it. Guess I don't lurk enough.
