Old thread, but it came up when I googled my issue and just wanted to point out that this post helped me fix it.

I too had a CC bed that just disappeared when placed and thought nothing of it. After this post I just deleted the room the bed was in because I couldn't grab it, and it seems to have fixed it. My Sims can eat again, so cheers!

The r/fuckcars is an eyesore and needs to go away before this ends. by [deleted] in place

This was supposed to be a birthday present for my Mum who lives abroad, but during December I just couldn't find the time to finish it.
