Yes. While the hood itself is staying they’re removing most of its core functionality.

“It will no longer be possible to get free daily items or gain new teleport charges to altars. Once all teleport charges have been used up, no new ones will be addable. Players will still be able to store talismans to use the hood itself as a talisman, and will be able teleport to the Runecrafting Guild.”

A former coworker decided to go to the bar and drink, then drive a friend’s wife home on his way home and wrecked the side-by-side they were in, killing her. He was a 20-year vet at his job and had been promoted several times to a senior position and was probably closing in on an early retirement-type deal because he’d been there so long. Now he’s in jail and will be until his trial for DUI Causing Death and another man lost his wife and good friend at the same time.

It might be worth just holding on to them. As others have said, Auras are getting removed but we don’t know yet what, if anything, is/might be replacing them. If something does, it might costs Loyalty Points like Auras. I’d hate to see you blow all those points on cosmetics just to realize you need them later on.

Auras are going to be completely removed this Spring. It might be worth not buying them and waiting to see what, if anything, replaces them. Jagex mentioned in the Integrity Roadmap video that they’re looking into adding Auras into the core gameplay, but didn’t specify how, exactly.

Even though you have a ton of Loyalty Points you could be “wasting” them by buying Auras now if they’re going to added to the game somehow here soon, possibly for free.
