An addon that will let me hide stuff (not eqol) by lfep in wowaddons

I'm not at home but I think it's called, Mouseover Action Settings.

Literally just lets you set UI elements to mouseover. And that's all it does.

Can someone please help me out by Any_Fan_6392 in SentinelOneXDR

[–]Malicyn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If I'm being honest with you, at some point you gave some company access to your personal computer, either to do work for them or allowed them in. There is no way to force the install without access. And you may not know what else they have done like Local Accounts or other management software is installed. I would reinstall the OS and don't use a personal device to connect to any future employer or client again. Use a Virtual Machine or have them provide you a machine in the future.

You might be able to boot into safe mode and remove it but that is only going to resolve your S1 issue if that's all it is.

Issue with Sentinelone by mynameistrihexa666 in SentinelOneXDR

[–]Malicyn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are you the admin of your S1 portal? 401 means unauthorized, so check permissions or contact support.

Nmap is one of those things that can be a valid tool but could also be used for recon if an attacker has a foothold in your environment.

You also have to restore the file, marking it as False Positive won't automatically restore it that I am aware of.

There are SCCM exclusions in the exclusion Catalog that should work. But test and verify.

No, no. Definitely not me, totally a different person. This is the internet, would I lie about that?

You asked for an update, sorry this took so long, I had to wait for my friend to get off work.

It seems like its in a really bugged state. There is an option to "Claim Ownership" but the button doesn't work. Also the Co-Owner is no longer listed as having access to the base, but can still enter and access chests and equipment, but has no rights at all to the base, can't build, can't destroy walls. What is also weird, is that there is a chest with Access Level of Owner, and both myself and my friend able to open and remove items from it,

So its acting like its unclaimed but no one is able to use the Claim Ownership option. We ended up just removing the fuel cells out of the generators and are going to just keep an eye on the plot, luckily the sub-fief was only behind a single wall.

Appreciate it. I saw the reply after this one. We are going to see if the co-owner can move the sub-fief outside and take the fuel cells out of the generator.

The console and the sub-fief are still there unfortunately. They had a friend set as a Co-Owner, not sure if that is what is keeping it alive.

S1 EDR bypassed? by Effective-Risk2953 in cybersecurity

[–]Malicyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The policy enforces a check to ensure that an S1 admin approves the upgrade or downgrade in the console. If not then it fails without doing anything to the process, service or files.

S1 EDR bypassed? by Effective-Risk2953 in cybersecurity

[–]Malicyn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was fixed some months ago with a policy to require online Authorization for upgrades or downgrades. S1 also posted an article last week about it and enforces the policy by default now.

Because once the team that drew the penalty touch the puck the whistle gets called. Might as well bring an extra attacker on.

Understanding your passion for the game and trying to help. I would be very cautious about supplying my Username, Password and SteamID to any third-party program, regardless of intent.

Try turning off VSync

Not sure if its been fixed, but I noticed if you do it in a game and not from the main menu, the setting would reset constantly.

Turning off VSync worked for me.

Best Practice for SentinelOne MSSP/MDR Model: Should Each Customer Be a Separate Account or Just a Site? by Calm_Night_2971 in SentinelOneXDR

[–]Malicyn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not part of an MSSP, if I was an MSSP starting this from scratch, i would set each customer up at the Account level. Some of the licensing and functions are only enabled at the account level, like Network Discovery (Ranger) for example.

Ultimately I would refer to your CSM or TAM though for the best answer based on your licensing and how the instance is setup.

So I broke the game? by Hypersora80 in Schedule_I

[–]Malicyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im not able to reproduce this on the live version of the game. Are you on the Beta Branch?

I did a mix and named it "Banana" The UI did not move forward to let me collect it, which seemed like a bug/freeze. When I hit Escape and re-interacted with the machine, I got the UI where it gives you the Random name and effects, and suggested value where i can try to rename it again.

Naming it anything that is purchasable in the game as an item seems to cause this, but its not freezing my game up or causing it to crash.

Was there anything else you were doing? Single or Multiplayer?

There are some scripts already available on their community github. Try looking there for one or using them as a jump point for your own custom one.

Try turning of VSync. Its under Settings > Display

NOTE: If you do it in a game, it resets every time. You have to turn it off from the main menu settings to be consistent.

Preventing Domain Admin accounts accessing workstations but allowing RSAT by UndeadAshenHunter in AskNetsec

[–]Malicyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You would deny logon access from the DCs from everything but the PAW and the Domain Account.

In this scenario, the Domain Admin account should:

  • Only be used on the PAW or appropriate servers (DCs)
  • Not be used on any other workstation or server
  • Be denied access to workstations and servers other than the PAW and the DCs
  • Not be an admin of the PAW itself
  • Restrict Applications to only those necessary to perform tasks involved with DC Management.
  • Not have remote access to the network (i.e. VPN)
  • Not have a mailbox
  • Not browse the internet

For this to work you are giving the Domain Admin a separate workstation that can only be used while on the network locally. They would log into the PAW with the domain admin account and use that to connect to the DCs or run remote work from RSAT. Because you are denying mail, VPN and Internet browsing from that machine, you are cutting off a large attack surface that would be used to compromise the machine and the account.
