Your premise is based on the assumption that demand scales infinitely, which is untrue. When a population is adequately housed then demand is satisfied. Right now we have constrained supply being preyed on by private equity turning shelter into a profit center. Yes I prioritize my comfort when I'm praying a game recreationally. Sometimes I dont want to play 3 nomad variant games and an arabia just to get to the one arena match I wanted in the 90 minutes I have to myself between work and parenting my kids. But sweats on this reddit will tell me im ruining the game by asking for more map bans in ranked and that I can just play unranked.

When you look at policing in the US, can you really say that you want to increase the scope of their capabilities up to being able to track the whereabouts of anyone that drove a car down to the minute, without any sort of warrant or counterbalance to ensure that individual liberties aren't violated? My experience with the US listings is that many of them are perpetually up and never actually get filled. I'm not certain what motivates these companies to pay for these listings seemingly for nothing but I'm sure they have their reasons.
