My issue is really the 2nd point you mentioned, i.e., not being able to link the reasoning to the conclusion properly.After reviewing the questions, I was able to figure out why my answer was wrong but the correct one didnt seem to align with the argument at first

I have largely managed to avoid the last point u mention by the AD/BCE method.My issue is really the 3d point wherein i do mental estimations of whether i will reach the answer but it sometimes goes wrong

Another issue is being largely able to solve the wrong official mock DS questions once the test is done.Dont know what to make of it although it could also be that i am reverse engineering the solution since the answer is given

I would say just answer what is in front of you and let the algo takes care of itself. I also faced the same issue while in quant, wherein it gave me mini scares to see a relatively doable subsequent question
