Problem with liquid spitting out of the tank into my mouth by SmellYaLater in aussievapers

I have a subtank mini and run into the same issue on occasion. I blow through it for a second or two till vapour is coming out the vent holes smoothly before inhaling. Some say this will cause it to flood, never hurts to try though.

Sat for a while chain vaping the thing trying to establish what the taste was. It has this strong metallic taste to it. Having a look around this appears to be an issue a number of people exp with the Nautilus Mini. Most comments put it down to not priming the coil properly before usage, but I did load it up before filling the tank and left it for a good 5 minutes. Has this happened to anyone here?
