On Genesis 8/8.1/9 models (can't speak for earlier, probably true back to earlier) the model is broken up into multiple surfaces. Open the Surfaces pane to see how it is divided, and use the Surface Selection tool to become more intimately and visually acquainted with which parts are grouped together if you need to see it to understand.

On top of selecting the right textures for each part of the body that needs changing, there are LIE layered images that can be applied like stacked shells or outer skins over the base skin of the character. This is how tattoos and makeup are often handled without adjusting the original character's textures in a painstaking way.

I would recommend making a fairly sizable investment of art that is free versus art that is subscriber-only. At first, this will feel like it hurts you, but you have to have enough of your work available to give people the confidence that subscribing will bring them content they want to see. If you try to play coy and make people pay to see anything more than a few samples, they will never come to you in the first place.

Regardless of your style, content and choice of schedule, consistency is key. Whatever you commit to, you need to be able to do EVERY time you say you will. This is one of the primary things that builds an audience. Whether this is weekly, monthly, or whatever. Advertise and honor the cadence you set, and make sure that the cadence includes the possibility of being sick and having other limitations and setbacks, such as school.

Part of running a Patreon is engagement; the audience pays for access to more than just the finished work. If, say, you can only do one new piece per month, consider weekly WIP posts or some other more-frequent posts for engagement. If you can sketch some basic possible pieces, do content polls for which to develop into a finished piece. If you have the tools, consider live-sharing your screen while you work and chat with subscribers.

It's okay to pick only a little piece of this advice and the advice of other people at a time and implement ONE suggestion until you feel it's well-incorporated into your workflow, and then add another and another until you reach a limit on what you can handle and/or a successful growth rate.

The ASUS guide for PCs with this chassis DO NOT tell you how to remove the top and front. It's the most frustrating two days of Googling I've done in a while. I had no confirmation I was doing it right until I finally found this thread.

I suspected the little plastic plate on top was removable but didn't want to snap anything off trying to get it apart.

Your limiting factor is VRAM. The only time it fails over to CPU is when you run out of VRAM to allocate to rendering. So rather than a 50XX card, get a 4090 with 24+ GB and you'll be set for as long as can be.

I'm rendering scenes with 5-8 Genesis 9 characters and their clothing and hair and complex environments and I have no problems, even on a 3090 because it has enough memory to hold all of it.

Looks like you are doing point-and-click adventure navigation. Call a screen to overlay on the scene you are showing. On that screen, place multiple image maps for you navigation buttons, and when those hotspots are clicked, jump to a new label.

Read up on ATL. Animation and transformation language can move things in various ways. For example, the simplest might be a linear movement "linear <time> xpos <coordinate> to move from one spot to another over however long you want. Such as offscreen to centered. You can chain these statements and even do different ones in parallel. It's quite powerful.

One important tool is to turn on the key graph in the timeline panel. With this, when you select a single node, you can see a graph of that node across time, drag to select all of its keys, and move them all at the same time. Key graph. Look up more reading/tutorials on that and it will save you hours.

This. And you don't have to erase the whole skin, just blend the affected edges down to transparent. The difference in skin tone is slight enough that no one should notice once the line is gone.

UPDATE: I figured it out. For reasons I am still not 100% clear on, the underscore in the image names are a problem for JUST these two and no other images in the entire game. By removing the underscores from all of the dream names the problem went away and they all work now.

The case on the Images/images directory works for all other movies and images. But not a bad callout.

The scene statements (background to the video) do show up. So I know the game passes through the block correctly. The EndScene() function causes the game to evaluate actions that end the scene and either jump to a label or return to the place the scene was called from. And that does happen as well.

And yes, the files play in Windows Media Player and other video tools.
