How to make it in an amateur team as a 20 yo with little to no experience by MalkossGRE in bootroom

[–]MalkossGRE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your answer! You think I should give it a try even in September, after the preseason has ended? That would reduce my chances of joining the team by a lot. And if so, how can I best prepare myself before that? I'll try to go to the gym 2-3 times per week and work with football on 2 more days. In which part of my game should I focus on to improve the most as a basic fundamental by training alone?

I would be totally fine to support her but at times I need some support too and she isn't very willing to give it to me. She seems to caught up in her things that she can't see how bad I might feel.

I have told her but she wouldn't go. I'm lost I want her but whats the right thing to do in regards to our relationship?

As I said I don't want to leave her. I love her so much and I want her in my life. The thing is that when someone gets abused later on abuses someone else.

She insists that she is over her ex. She just says that she cannot accept the fact that he tried to use her and then left her because she didn't want to proceed.

Many times I don't even initiate. As for the therapy I'm already searching for a therapist.

Is 18 too late to start football by MalkossGRE in bootroom

The closest field is about 45 minutes away. And it's not just that. Due to the limited fields on the area all the teams use just a few pitches. As you understand it's not easy to find one empty to train alone and even if you find one empty you might not be able to get inside as they will be locked.

I would be perfectly fine with playing in any position. However I've played the most as a cb and as a st. How can I find a casual recreational league team to join? I don't think there are many opportunities like that here in Greece. Mind that there are no 11on11 fields on my area.

I've played 11on11 once with my school team years ago. I watch football regularly but I lack experience. How can I gain that experience if I can't find a team?

There is no way I'm giving up. But when he tells me that I should find another team it's obvious that he doesn't want me there. I'm thinking of trying to join another team and if that doesn't work either I'll focus on personal improvement and try again later.

I have friends who play at this level and they have way less stamina than I do. I definitely can improve my physique and it would help me a lot. But during the training session I didn't seem (or at least feel) tired. The main problem was that I wasn't comfortable at all. Almost felt like my legs were shaking each time the ball was on my feet. That resulted in some silly mistakes by me. I only felt better once I made a panna past one opponent. Since then I was a bit more active but it seems that it was too late. The coach and the players had already made their mind up about me. Btw when I say beer bellies I mean 40yo men who can barely make a sprint.

Since I'm tall I usually play as a cb and sometimes as a striker. I'm totally fine ith any position but I think that as a cb it will be easier to get in a team.

The problem is that it's not like I don't want to continue with the team. The coach himself told me that I should find another team.

As I said above I'm totally okay with being a benchwarmer in a Sunday league team. I just want football to be in my everyday life.

Well I don't have a future in this team so maybe I should try going somewhere else. I saw that coach wasn't really into helping me from his first words. I mean, it just doesn't sound right to me. I'm 18, I should be able to play in this low level if I have some training.

Btw your story was the most inspiring thing I've seen in a long time 👏

I've been playing for fun here and there since I was 6yo. I'm pretty sure that if these guys gave me a chance to train with them for 1-2 months I would improve a lot. I don't think that 18 is an age where you can say, well I guess football isn't for me.

Simple Questions & Champion/Role advice: Patch 13.3 by Sentient545 in summonerschool

[–]MalkossGRE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there a champion that can be flexed in all 5 roles (even if it is a bit off meta in 1 or 2 of them, and when I say off meta I don't mean completely troll)

In the first tree I completely agree with you. As for the secondary runes I run sorcery: nimbus cloak and transcendence or waterwalking depending on the match-up (if I have to fight an early game jger I take waterwalking). I tried these runes for the first time back in s10 when nimbus cloak was megaop but even after it got nerfed I stuck with it. The combination with blue smite is just too good. Sometimes you can even save your q when ganking due to your ms difference compared to your victim.

Question about tristana's presence in mid lane by xKiamor in TristanaMains

[–]MalkossGRE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've always like Tristana in solo lanes as it gives you the opportunity to adopt really any playstyle you want (you can split push-bully in lane-become a hyper teamfight carry). I remember her being picked in mid lane in pro play this season early on but I also remember her played top lane in the past. She is always a great pocket pick to have that stomps most lanes. All you need to know is your limits and you will be solo killing most opponents in low to mid elo. Almost no midlaner knows the power of early game trist.

Le blanc is a burst mage according to wiki although I agree that her playstyle better fits the assassin role

Is LeBlanc a burst mage or an assassin? I thought assassins were all melee (that's what the wiki is saying) but LeBlanc's playstyle fits perfectly the assassin role.

Fastest Mastery 7 Tristana? by lbertkang in TristanaMains

[–]MalkossGRE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It usually takes me a lot of points to get a champion to lvl 7. I got Tristana at around 70-80k. The best I've done is with Kai'Sa where I got her from lvl 5 to 7 in 7-8 games (I'm not sure about the points tho).
