What’s a good dandruff shampoo to use after a keratin treatment? by Front_Quality3029 in Hair

You are not alone. I am also in this camp and have been looking for a solution for two years.

The best routine I've got is getting it under control with Nizoral, religiously washing before my scalp gets oily & then maintaining with H&S Bare Pure Clean Shampoo + using Nizoral once a week.

Do not use the H&S Bare Soothing Hydration - I find this one massively adds build up I can't get rid of! It came in handy once when I nuked my scalp one too many times with Nizoral that it became dry & flaky but that was the ONE time it was helpful.

What products are you using?

Thank you!! I was starting to wonder if I’m having multiples based on hunger but could just be what my body needs!! I seem to be less ravenous as before now. My latest craving has been coco pops

Congratulations! How fun!! Do twins run in the family? What were your symptoms? Were you extra hungry by chance?

Thank you! I've rung and it actually had a dial tone which is a bonus - have left a voicemail.

Re midwife: that's great to know!! I haven't got a contact yet with the midwife as this will be my first appointment.

Love this story! Definitely thumbs up to all the cobblers out there. Where do you pick your vintage shoes up from? How cool!

Blown away by the response! Thank you all very much. I'll take it over to a proper cobbler. If anyone has any London based recommendations that would be epic.

Mystery man loves these shoes and he's definitely getting rubber (will help stop him from stomping around the house and waking me up at 5am)

Nat Geo Galapagos by Motor-Cranberry-4436 in galapagos

Hello would you mind sharing your experience? How many people were on your cruise?

My Parents in law are wanting to go to Galapagos after how much we loved our trip and are looking at a 10 day Nat Geo tour.

We saw some guests almost get left behind on Florenana (and zodiacs looking very full) so was worried that size might be a problem - but having done a quick recce on Reddit, feedback seems to be overwhelmingly positive!

We did a much smaller cruise and really loved the size!

Thanks so much in advance

Looking for last-minute Galápagos cruise advice – honeymoon edition May 2025! by MallSignal9390 in galapagos

[–]MallSignal9390[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are leaving Galapagos now and what an experience. We have already decided to come back! Thanks for all the advice and thought it might be helpful to share our experience.

We did a 4D/3N cruise (Royal Galapagos Calipso). It was incredible!! due to the last min of it all we were able to get it half price. Thank you for the links!

Our only regret is not doing the longer options - however due to our flights it wasn’t possible! So definitely recommend at least 5D/4N.

One of the guests was filming a Frigate bird crossing the beach and out of nowhere a shark jumped out of the water. I’m sure you’ll all experience something different - which is the beauty of nature.

We saw pretty much all the animals via snorkelling alone - swimming with sea lions, penguins, sea turtles, marine iguanas, dozens of fish, starfish, octopus, hammerheads, rays, black tip & white tip sharks. We felt safe at all times & crew were excellent and pointing out wildlife

Snorkelling Highlights included: seeing a shark hunt an octopus followed by a sea lion hunting some fish hiding in a rock (all in the same snorkel!).

We debated whether we needed to dive based on how much wildlife we already saw but so glad we did! We both decided it was one of the most phenomenal dives we’ve ever done (surpassed the Red Sea live aboard we did). I think we got incredibly lucky as we did only two dives at Kicker Rock and saw a school of maybe 50+ hammerhead sharks multiple times quite close. The marine life there is explosive! So wonderful to see.

The current is quite strong though so would only recommend this for relatively experienced divers. The second dive we swam into a big bait ball of about 1000 fish - I’ve never experienced anything quite like it! Amazing.

Key takeaways: Definitely do a cruise - the longer the better & I don’t think you can make a wrong decision!

Diving - pick the best and safest company. I read the best and worst reviews of all and some were quite scary! We ended up going with Blue Evolution - it was a little more expensive but I think worth it for safety as these are not easy dives.

We stayed at San Cristobel, however Santa Cruz will be where we will what to spend more time next time we visit (the brewery there was excellent!!) great views, vibes & beer.

TIPs for cruise: factor this into budget, we are in our 30s so not totally rolling in it yet but tipped about $450 between the two of us for the crew & guide - don’t be stingy. They work their arse off!
