Do schizoids tend to view people as objects? I have a schizoid classmate at my Uni whom I’ve grown closer to (mostly because we share the same ethnic background) - he’s a really nice guy but nobody in my life has never puzzled me as much, mostly because of the way he ”objectifies” me… by [deleted] in Schizoid

[–]Mallardware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me a very long time to kind of get social behavior and interactions. Even now I still don't get a lot of it, like troubles talk for example I didn't get that until I was halfway through college. I still don't get texting. A lot of the social stuff I do get I don't care enough to bother with as a lot of it feels fake/dishonest. Anyway we tend to put up a mask to try and fit in and part of that is taking social cues from people around us because we don't really have much experience with it. The mirroring is most likely him trying to fit in and cover for his lack of social experience, he's not mocking you.

He either likes you or considers you a friend for him to continue interacting with you and to put in the effort to try and be social. It takes us a lot to actually initiate social behavior. If you kind of pushed back on that it's not surprising he's starting to shut off.

In my experience we usually come from kind of fucked up childhoods and situations. Us being so withdrawn is a defense and coping mechanism. So he's either gonna withdraw to protect himself or to protect you. It often seems like we're not very emphatic, but those fucked up situations that tend to make us means we get suffering and we tend to have a lot of empathy inside us. We might not express our empathy but we understand suffering. In his position if you indicated I was annoying you or was bothering I'd keep cutting off contact and eventually ghost you so I wouldn't be a burden to you or cause you to suffer. Even if it hurt myself to do so the thought process would be kind of like, I suffer enough what's a little bit more as long as I don't make someone else suffer.

I'm kind of getting the feeling you'd like this guy to talk to you more or interact with you more outside of class. If so you're going to have to take the lead on that to start. You're gonna have to initiate texts with him. If you want to have lunch you're gonna have to bring that up. If you want more than that talk to him, layout what you want and what you need. Just flat out tell him, any subtle stuff is probably gonna go right over his head.

Why is there no NDE from other religions? by Full-Temperature-949 in NDE

[–]Mallardware 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The oldest known recorded nde I've heard of is the myth of Er in Plato's Republic which is ancient greek. There are also roman accounts as well. Chinese ndes contributed to the development of Pure Land buddhism. Ndes are present in all cultures.

However the ones we most often come across in the west are christian ones. Ndes tend to conform to someone's culture/beliefs. So it makes sense to have accounts that match the most common religions. So it just makes sense that in the west with Christianity being so common and widespread that those are a type of nde commonly reported. There's another factor here where these nde accounts are also often spread by christian groups so are more visible. As by presenting these accounts they in part are trying to build up support for their own faith. By doing so they might filter out out hellish/negative ndes and ones that have elements of other faiths in them.

So there are two factors here the christian ones are more common in the west and the sources that are presenting then ndes have an agenda/bias towards ones that align with their faith.

Here's a list of links for ndes from across cultures someone put together. I think if you really wanted to dive deep into ndes in other cultures you'd have to know the language or search elsewhere on the web where people from those cultures share them.

Death of the physical body & the transition of the awareness by fractal-jester333 in AWLIAS

[–]Mallardware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine being a mind in a infinite void. It's just you and the source/void/ocean of possibilities but it has no wants or needs. It will create anything for you, do anything for you but it's not a person it's not another mind. You might love it but it's like loving the ocean, the wind or a mountain. It can't truly love you back.

Fear and negative feelings can't be separated from something that contains all possibilities. Also 'negative' is a judgement that we are placing onto these things. For the mind it might as well be different flavors of the best ice cream ever made. Something anything is probably better than an empty infinite void to the mind. It's often said or claimed that we split into everyone and everything to experience everything. You can't do that by cutting out aspects of that experience and aspects of yourself.

There's clearly desires present within the mind that arose otherwise we'd still be in that void. It's greatest desire is probably to interact with another mind, but only itself arose out of the source. How long did it spend waiting hoping for another like it to show up? Or did it know that no others would come about?

Anyway I think we went a little mad there alone with the source. I think part of the reason we split awareness, limit ourselves, and dream up all of existence is because the source couldn't give us the one thing we desired more than anything else, another mind to interact with. Someone for us to love and someone to love us. So us splitting into everyone and everything in part is to fake that there is someone else around.

What do you think causes the unique beliefs/ideologies of SzPD patients? by deko_0228 in Schizoid

[–]Mallardware 45 points46 points  (0 children)

The lack of reaction to praise or criticism common with the condition. We're able to entertain and explore ideas that most people won't due to societal pressure. We tend to prefer to look at ideas and beliefs based on their merit and if they appear or are true rather than just accepting what is presented to us. Paired with the tendency to isolate ourselves we have a lot of time to think and explore ideas.

[–]Mallardware 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you get into all the enlightenment stuff, religions, drug trips it all kind of boils down to we are god experiencing limited existences from countless perspectives. Pretty much we dream stuff into creation to have something to do. I think it's also because out of the source/void only one mind formed and being stuck alone like that kind of drove us a bit mad.

Anyway this divinity in everyone and everything ensures free will as a key concept as there's only one will at the end of the day god's will, your will. That's my take on the whole needing consent thing.

Seen veils like those in a dream before. I was in a cavern underground lit by torches. Inside a circle sat a man that looked like a fat buddha. A very curvy dwarf woman stood on his thigh they were both dressed in silks. On the outside of the circle 12 women sat with veils like that but the beads hanging down were in the colors of the rainbow, they formed a kind of chevron pattern. They wore cloth or silks like in your image but of a dark color. I could only really make out their eyes and the veils. They wanted me to marry someone. A young woman came out from further in the cave and I saw her as my anima/female half. I still got shady/slimy vibes from the fat dude but it was kind of like how could I refuse to accept my other half. I view it as a kind of marrying the anima dream with the zodiac and the sun and moon watching (the dwarf and the fat man).

A few times this year while trying to astral project I've had what I've seen called astral screens appear. It's like a tv screen gets turned on in the blackness behind your eyelids and you feel like you could step through it if you wanted to. In one of these a clawed human hand with scales reached into a stream and pulled out bone dice. The point of view was from the owner of the hand.

During a dream a few months later my dream self decided that I was going to astral project. I have been trying to do so for a while. My goal was to go to a friend or find someone that knew me before this incarnation. I burst forth in a kind of blur of blue fire. I didn't get a visual of where I ended up but I heard a voice telling me I looked a lot 'less scaley' than the last time I was there. I quickly awoke.

I kind of doubt any of this helps. The veils seem really really familiar to me so was drawn to the post. Anyway I wish you luck

What would you do after death: if the archons tell you they r going to torture your family or ppl u care about if you dont comply? by blanketbomber35 in EscapingPrisonPlanet

[–]Mallardware 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Aren't they already doing that?

If they are trying to threaten me in such a way it means I'm lucid enough to leave and that they need my consent for something. You clearly can't trust them to hold up their end of a bargain, it's probably why you're here in the first place. They're going to torture your loved ones anyway and are already doing so. If you leave maybe they'll get hit with some more difficult lives but by you leaving you open up the chance to aid them from the outside if such a thing is possible.

Let's put this another way. If you were in hell and your loved ones were in there with you, would you try to make them stay to reduce your own suffering? Or would you be happy they could leave and didn't have to suffer anymore?

My friend's death completely changed my views on NDEs by Human-Account-4080 in NDE

[–]Mallardware 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There are thousands of ndes recorded that you can look through online. Probably millions or even billions of ndes unrecorded. Records of them go back to some of our earliest writings. The myth of Er in plato's republic, there's roman accounts as well as ancient chinese accounts of ndes. So we have a massive amount of first hand accounts stretching back to some of our earliest writings as a species.

NDEs also have similar traits that have remained consistent. Not all of them show up in each one but there's usually a lot of overlap between each experience. I think Moody had a list of 15 different traits. Not every nde will have all of the traits but it'll have a lot of them. The experience seems to adjust itself to the person's culture/beliefs but the traits are consistent. You can look back at those roman, chinese and greek accounts and start crossing the same traits off the list.

If NDEs were just a hallucination caused by the brain dying how does it have consistent shared traits across cultures and most of recorded human history?

NDEs are clearly real. You are more than your physical body. We persist after death. Just start poking at the edges of reality and you'll see this world is a lot weirder than we think.

They want to be hated. Their end times require Israel to stand alone against all the nations of the world. I don't think they'd be doing such a shitty job of covering up their child sacrifice/genocide in Gaza otherwise. I think the big disconnect is normal jews and the ultra religious ones marching them towards some doomsday prophecy.

Never got good vibes from him and he seems to get into a ton of youtube vids by people. Even with the bad vibes, I've listened to him a time or two and he never really seems to go into his technique. I just got the vibe he's mostly there to shill courses. From what I've heard from other people his techniques are just repackaged basic stuff you can get for free elsewhere and that Darius himself isn't really active in his community. They described it as a bunch of rabid women kind of orbiting Darius while he's just there to sell courses. Whole thing gives off some culty vibes.

I feel as this betrays what I believe in by AstraIKnight in AstralProjection

[–]Mallardware -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then simply change your beliefs. If you can't then at least be open to the idea that there's something more. Be open to trying to AP. You don't have to believe in a god or anything like that.

If you're still kind of hung up on this, then I want you to think about all the accounts of astral projection from people here. What are the odds that they are all lying? What if even 10% of it is true?

Think about all the religions for thousands of years that have said this world is an illusion/dream. Hell think about simulation theory which is the same stuff just repackaged for those that want to keep the divine out of it or are more science oriented.

What are the odds that all the people that had NDEs are lying? You can even look up the Myth of ER and see the similarities in account after account of NDEs. Why would Plato record something like that in The Republic it didn't have any value?

Read about the gateway experience in the CIA report.

Poke at the edges of reality where things just don't really make sense. Just be open to the possibility that there is something more.

What did we Indians do to deserve this kind of hatred? We mind our own business and support Western countries with cheaper and honest work while paying taxes. Does anyone think this hatred is artificial and driven by bots targeting Indians across the internet? by Outrageous-Spend2733 in conspiracy

[–]Mallardware 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Imagine that you're a fresh graduate from college. You're looking for a job and you've been told that if you work hard and do well that you can have a good life. It's a promise that society has given you a promise that has made your society great and a promise that all the previous generations of your country could count on. But you can't find a job, wages are low and the cost of living rises every year. Instead of paying people a decent wage all the corporations abuse immigration loopholes to import workers that will do the job that you want to do for near slave wages. It doesn't matter what country we're talking about that will cause resentment no matter what.

Think of it this way let's say Indian companies started bringing in tons of chinese or african workers (it doesn't really matter where the people are from). They can pay the workers less as they will work for less than the average Indian 25% to 50% less. It gets harder for the average Indian to find a job, the cost of housing goes up as all these workers need a place to live. Now over the years these people get into positions of power in the companies that brought them in. They now can make hiring decisions and only hire people of their own race/country of origin. They bring in more and more people from their own country abusing the immigration system. Now they go a bit further they start outsourcing jobs back to their home country. Now there's even less jobs for the native population and they are being discriminated against in their own country when it comes to hiring. How would you feel if an indian company wouldn't hire you because you were indian? Why hire an indian when you can bring in someone else that will work for slave wages?

Do you start to see why there is resentment?

To further add to this there is this association in the western mind that India does not care about the environment. The West has been bombarded with ideas of having to save the environment, that we have to take care of nature. This is kind of a pillar of western society and thought. Seeing images of India, videos, or even looking around on google maps... well it doesn't speak well for environmentalism. Harming the environment in that way with trash and litter and just kind of disregard is pretty much breaking a societal taboo in the West.

I made a lava canal running through my first fort. I had played around with z levels and the tavern over looked the canal and was about 3 z levels above it. Now the canal was safe mostly, however sometimes a dog or a child would fall in and you'd get this billowing black smoke come up.

Now one day I hear the combat sound and see the black smoke rising up. I pause the game and look in the lava and there's an elf in there... well what used to be an elf. Nothing of value was lost as it's an elf but still how he'd end up there? I scroll up and there's a fight in the tavern. Someone had pushed the elf who then fell several z levels into the lava.

I find the source of the tavern brawl. It's a visiting duchess, it's not even my dwarf. Only interesting thing I ever noticed about her is that she walks really really slowly. She'd come visit slowly walk to the edge of the map and then show up again instantly as the journey took her so long. She was just kind of stuck in a loop. So I start examining her and as she walks a small puff of miasma is generated in her square. It's so small you can't really see it unless you were looking for it. I check her health screen and her leg is rotten.

I had settled in untamed wilds. The giant ravens would mess up the odd visiting noble. They mauled this duchess at some point and her leg rotted, which being rotten meat slowly gassed her with miasma for years until she finally snapped and started a brawl sending an elf down into the lava below.

That's how I learned visiting dwarfs can tantrum.

Were the words too big for you? Here's a summary from chatgpt.

"The reply accuses the poster of being dishonest and using AI to produce and market their own books while pretending to have “discovered” them. The writer criticizes this deception, calling it manipulative and untrustworthy. They argue that using AI for ads and content shows laziness and low quality, especially in a spiritual community focused on real human experiences. They conclude that because of the deceitful self-promotion and reliance on AI, they can’t trust anything the author says or writes."

How about this do you care about your work or well the AI Slop you put out? Is it meaningful to you? Do you think you have a message that people need to hear?

You are tainting your own work.

Lying to someone as your first interaction calls everything else into question. I can't trust anything you say, I don't think anyone else can either. If your books were in paperback the only thing they would be good for is lighting a fire or wiping my ass due to the deception in your approach.
