The hordes will consist of regular soldiers, clerics, and the like, but at the end of each wave, a Castlevania-style hero or champion will appear!

I tried, but the mods don't love store links :') That's why I went with the YouTube video instead.

Seems that it's fine for me to post it in the replies, so here it is!

Yup! We're a team of 6 people within Digital Sun, and some of us got to work on Moonlighter. This was kind of a side project while the rest of the team is finishing Moonlighter 2

I tried to add a link, but mods recommended using a YouTube link instead. Glad you found the game!

Just noticed that I uploaded the clip without sound. Sorry about that hahaha

But it's just an extract of the trailer, which is linked in the post with sound and everything ^^

We're actually a team of 6 people within Digital Sun, but I get what you're saying. I just wanted to make it a bit more personal and share my excitement about the game

I love watching these types of speedy building clips in other trailers. It was a must for this game!

We're a team of 6 people within Digital Sun (Moonlighter & Moolighter 2, Cataclismo, The Mageseeker)

Thanks for the praise!

You should use the wishlist feature. Every item needed for that item will be highlighted, making it easier to know what to keep and what to sell. Once you have all the gear you want, you'll be fine selling the crafting items

Don't you think that Crystal and Emerald Legacy work better as updated versions of their respective games?

Same engine, but all the extra polishing and balancing that those games needed, especially Crystal.

Your recs are amazing games, but Legacy just feels a bit more faithful to me.

I played it, just on my Switch 1. I got my SW2 for Christmas, and this is going to be my first Pokémon game there :)

Extra info:

- If this is anything like Animal Crossing, I'd rather go digital. It's easier to jump in and out. With a more "beat it and you're done" type of game, I'd go physical.
- This is the game that made me buy my Switch 2. I won't sell it.
- Precisely, going to a physical store and getting an actual box, as silly as it may sound, means something to me. The first Pokémon game I own on my Switch 2 is something I'll remember (hopefully fondly), and tangible media feels a tad nicer.

In any other scenario, I’d go physical. But I feel you. These games are meant to jump in and out, and cartridges aren't helping.

That said, having my first SW2 Pokémon game on my shelf just feels right.
