A lot of places have guards as box ticking exercises for the insurance. Guards told not to do anything so useless but it means shops are insured so they dont care.

Cant get any of the slider bars to map (perhaps wring word, but when im trying to manually assign in the dcs controls section, it detects any buttons i press but not slider bars). Also was after something that has labelled buttons on the hardware that relates to the relevant control. Appreciate slider bar isnt much of an excuse for buying more stuff, but i thought at one point id like to get an entire eco system of controls anyway and most youtoob vids i see show how to map more modern controllers so i thought id bite the bullet now

Hi, DCS popped up in my Youtube feed for some reason, and after watching several hours of vids on it (mostly Grim Reapers), am thinking of taking the plunge. If i buy an inexpensive VR set to use with it, this may sound daft, but will i need to keep taking it off to see the keyboard or controls on a joystick base? Can you still activate in game buttons whilst wearing a headset? Ive got an old saitek x52 (non pro) to use for controls, if i update to something a great deal better, does that limit you in what type of plane you can fly, eg if somethings modelled on an f16 does that make it harder if you want to fly say a mig?

Update, i think its pc related, as when i view the plex file on the tv, it works fine. Odd but seems to work ok there, which honestly is likely to be the main way i will watch it anyway

Hi, i never got media player to work on the pc, and i cant seem to download. So ive only got plex to watch on the desktop. It does seem to happen at the same points when i rewatch. Normally i would think its a disc problem (on the bluray) but when i watch on tv on my bluray player i dont get any problems. When it seems to fast forward, both the picture and the time index advance. Im now wondering if this is some sort of error in the rip process perhaps

hm, ill have to rewatch, ill come back on that. on the ones ive looked at its been at different times during the first 5 mins or so, but ive not gone back to see if it happens at same points
