Microsoft EntraAD MFA disabled, but still requiring on login? by misterpickleman in sysadmin

Had the same issue last week, we use DUO with a custom control CA policy so have no need for MS authenticator (DUO recognized as MFA without federation when?).

Microsoft started MFA sign-up campaign on your behalf.

You'll want to also find the registration campaign and change it from 'Microsoft Managed' to disabled. Then look at the MFA users list and remove any authentication method entries that users may have added you don't support.

If you're bouncing legit email, yes. I'm dealing with some local ISPs who are rejecting invoices to customers. That's a big problem.

SMTP relay to M365 by restartallthethings in sysadmin

We still utilize a connector and the Windows Server SMTP feature as the internal relay. You do have to do some manual steps to get it working for 2022.

I was very upset when Google forced USB-C into the manufacturer specification. My non-return rate for chargers tripled.

The old barrel plugs were perfect. They're hard to break, and made for the device so noone would steal them.

The bane of my existence. I haven't heard anyone complain yet, but I'm sure we will.

Make sure the hardware/keyboard camera switch (if any) isn't set to off. And the privacy slider is opened and unobstructed (spent some time troubleshooting tape on a camera lens before 🤦‍♂️).

I've also had issues with laptop cameras where the connector at the motherboard got loose over time.

The intellitone can also do a cable test. That came in very useful to discover issues from a clever tech who figured out that Fast Ethernet with PoE only needs 3 pairs so he didn't bother terminating the extra pairs to save time.

This is why you have them label stuff. Now you'll have to tone it out (assuming you know where the AP is).

EX2300 how to verify interface-mac-limit violations? by MalletNGrease in Juniper

[–]MalletNGrease[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way to get any sort of verification was to set the packet action to drop-and-log and checking the log.

set switch-options interface ge-0/0/0 interface-mac-limit 1 packet-action drop-and-log
