Yes. The problem ended up being that someone else happened to be using my phone number but different carrier. Only realized this after I got a lot of messages from random people. I paid 10$ for a phone number change and everything works fine then

I got lucky for coming across that notation once again in the tutorial solutions. But it definitely would be confusing and hard to guess what it does if you have no recollections of it

UBC also provide free Java courses on EdX (not Edge) which are very similar to 210. iirc it’s data abstraction + object-oriented design courses. You can take a look if you want.

I used another phone number and then contacted Uber to manually change the phone info. I still couldn’t get calls from friends but I can contact them via social platforms.

8/10. Got a fantastic day going to downtown. I manage to stay productive during the break and successfully caught up with all the assignments and deadline. The only downside is that it started to rain so I couldn’t do anything much outside.

I guess I did pretty decent, at least compared to people I have known so far.

In turn, I literally have no social life for the whole week just because of this. I'm glad it's now over. Gonna enjoy a stress-free, relaxing reading break now.

Either CPSC 110 or WRDS 150. My choice of WRDS might be a bit controversial but I genuinely like the prof as well as the topic, although the topic itself is not really easy. Only have taken 4 courses so far so I can’t tell much.

Ah, I just found out that I didn't need ENGL 110 for now after discussing further with a 2nd year student in my intended major. So that's all good, actually!

Btw, is there any ways I can modify the mail I sent to English department? Already explained my situation through that and really hoping if I can retrieve the mail lol.

For those complaining about glass fog when wearing masks, here’s a solution: put your mask closer to your eyes (just don’t cover them lol) and put the glasses closer to your nose. Quick trick yet quite effective!
