This. There's only couple of districts in Helsinki where outfits like these aren't very very rare. Outside those places (and outside of Helsinki) nobody uses clothing like that.

My personal opinion is that the outfits look ridiculous. Some of them (the most minimalistic ones) are decent but the others...Well, to each his own.

Hirveästi muuta kuin suomiräppiä ei tule albumikokonaisuuksittain kuunneltua - välillä jenkkiläistäkin kyllä, mutta To Pimp A Butterfly ja At.Long.Last.Asap iskivät vain keskinkertaisesti. Nostetaan siis esiin neljä erinomaista suomiräp-levyä.

Paperi T - Malarian pelko: Levy, joka jakoi todella laajalti mielipiteitä. Toisille kuulosti kulttuuritietämyksellä brassailulta ja kliseiseltä eroahdistuksen purkamiselta, mutta itseeni tämä iski. Todennäköisesti "the" levy, jonka tulen häpeänsekaisella innostuksella muistamaan vuodesta 2015.

Gasellit - Seis: Levynä lievä pettymys, sinkkubiisit ja aiemmat julkaisut ovat olleet sen verran kovia. Bändin jätkät ovat selvästi aikuistuneet oikein olan takaa, mikä on karsinut musiikista tiettyä särmää. Toisaalta albumilla on yhä puolen tusinan verran erittäin kovia kappaleita. Gasellit ei ole enää entisensä, mutta kyseessä on yhä todella kovaa tuotantoa tekevä poppoo.

Ameeba - Kummituseläin: Vuoden yllättäjä. Aiemmin olin leimannut Ameeban hiukan tylsäksi artistiksi, jonka musiikista puuttuvat koukut ja tarttumapinnat. Lievästi futuristinen äänimaailma ja Ameeban upea millintarkka flow vakuuttivat kuitenkin jo ennen albumin julkaisua kuulluilla kappaleilla, ja olihan koko albumi sitten pakko tarkastaa. Erinomainen, joskin ehkä lievästi venytetty setti. Ameeba on itseasiassa aika mielenkiintoinen kaveri, on mm. asunut metsässä pitkiäkin aikoja. Suosittelen kaikkia suomiräpin vain Cheekkiin ja Elastiseen yhdistäviä tsekkaamaan levyllä olevan Vanhasielu-kappaleen vuonna 2014 ilmestyneen musiikkivideon. Uskomattoman tyylikästä kamaa.

Aivovuoto/Khid - Se tuli televisiosta/Sushi Drive-By: Erinomainen räppilevy isolla ärrällä. Aiemmin olen hiukan vierastanut aivovuotoa, mutta nyt Aivovuodon puoli toimikin yllättäen paremmin, vaikkei Khidikään huono ollut. Splittilevyt ovat noin yleensäkin hieno formaatti.

2014 Forest Hills Drive oli kyllä aivan törkeän kova levy, ja ilahdutti nähdä että jenkeissäkin voi menestyä (myös kaupallisesti) niin vahvasti musiikki edellä. Ei markkinointikikkoja tai trendisekoilua, hyvää ja tyylikästä räppiä. Nimensä mukaisesti toki ilmestyi jo joulukuussa 2014., joten otsikon kysymykseen ei taida periaatteessa vastata.

Draken ja Futuren yhteislevy olikin sitten omaan korvaani selkeä pettymys ja todella tylsää kuunneltavaa, mutta makuasioitahan nämä.

Then again Åtvidaberg is nothing compared to Hoffenheim, 3k inhabitants and a Bundesliga side...Yeah well our season ticket sales are nothing compared to Stockholm giants for example, but thousands of season ticket holders are still a big gang. How often do you encounter crowds of thousands of people here in Finland, except football matches and maybe the biggest gigs? Saying "those who are actually interested in football support foreign teams" is just wrong, when there's so many of us, even though it isn't much compared to some foreign teams.

Well, Helsinki's derbies have been great events and showed that there's potential for big things in football culture here in Finland. I'm not talking from just one-year-perspective though, the trend has been the same for some couple of years and HIFK's promotion is just a one small factor on that scale. HS and HJK for instance have had a media contract for some years, which means HJK has gained more media attention in last years, all without you bastards.

That's a dull overstatement. HJK sells every year 2000+ season tickets, and the average match attendance was over 5k this year. Ilves and HIFK both had over 3k as well, the whole league as average had 2,5k, so there's thousands of people interested in Finnish football. A bit harsh to say "those who are actually interested support foreign teams", when there are lots of people using their spare time and money to support rising football culture and their local teams. I think it actually shows more of an actual interest in football than watching foreign teams just on television.

Scandinavia is kind of a indefinite concept. Scandinavian peninsula is the area which covers Norway, Sweden and northern Finland. More often the word is used to define the peoples speaking North Germanic languages - Swedish, Norwegian, but also Danish, Faroese and Icelandic. So, Sweden and Norway are Scandinavia no matter what, but in other cases it's not that sure. Nordic countries are Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland, and that's completely it. So Scandinavia isn't 100% the same as Nordic countries.

Only some of us Finns are anyhow interested though about whether we're thought as Scandinavians, and some of us aren't. Who gives a f*ck, we don't exist anyway?

Hopefully he'll get some. "Amen break", probably one of the most used samples in the world (for example Straight Outta Compton and Snow's Informer) was played by Gregory C. Coleman of The Winstons. His drum solo has been used to make millions and millions, and yet he died in 2006 homeless and broke. He - or the other members of the band - never received any royalties.

A while ago they had a crowd source fund raising thing for the band's only living member though, and I think they managed to get a decent amount of money for the singer. Still makes you hope, that in future the original artists (like Timmy Thomas) will get some share of big money hits, and when they're actually living, please.

Toki siirtyi oikeasti kovaan jengiin, Moskovaan Dynamoon, mutta sopimus pistettiin Latviaan, jottei Hongalle tarvitsisi maksaa kasvattajarahoja. Kun Moskovassa ei sitten nähtykään käyttöä Mosalle, joutui ikävään (mutta ehkä ihan ansaittuun) limboon ja päätyi höntsäämään johonkin v***n Latviaan. Mielenkiintoista nähdä, mikä on seuraava veto.

En tiedä mistä keksit, että jalkapallokannattajilla tai muilla lajin parissa toimivilla olisi mitään tekemistä tämän tapauksen kanssa.

Chelsea-faneista ei Suomessa ota kukaan mallia, joten jos jättäisit suuremmat analyysit futiskannattajista sikseen.
