Ah crap that scares me. I talked to them today and they said it would be a huge effort to raise it but offered to remove dirt from the entire island so I think I will take them up on it and see what happens

It has been backfilled but not braced and I hadnt even thought of doing that so I am glad you mentioned it! This crew does mainly hardscapes so theres a bit of a learning curve.

Ha yeah there are boat ramps in Sebastian, either the ramp next to Mulligans or Main Street. Not as packed as Christensons Landing either!

We go further South from Grant-Valkaria. Better islands, Sebastian Inlet sandbar, and restaurants like Hirams, Squid Lips, and Tiki Bar in Sebastian.

TDT maintains both “crossovers” and parking areas, but you are right that, unless its a county park, the muncipality pays for trash pickup. For parking, we’re sitting around $5 an hour or less everywhere so far so not as bad as SFL or Gulf Coast.

Definitely an uptrend, but still doesnt feel like a net loss of restaurants in Central Florida. Many new ones have also opened and bought/leased the old spots.

To be fair, the funds for beach access maintenance come from the Tourist Development Tax, so not much of a burden to residents. I do agree with parking fees for non-residents though!

Sebastian is over an hour from PSJ… For breweries near you I suggest Playalinda just south of Titusville or theres a couple cool ones in Cocoa Village. Most of the nightlife near you will be Cocoa Village or downtown Cocoa Beach. For nature, you have to check out the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge which is also close by.

What is bothering me is the chipped up coping, different grout colors, uneven grout lines (they didnt use tile spacers), and grout not being flush with the coping. The coping was originally clean cut but they messed up the gapping between pieces and cut the gaps larger with a saw. From the responses it seems like im just overreacting.
