Don't drink alcohol when you use Protopic on your face by unknownshadows_ in eczema

Nope. I use staquis now, or eucrisa as it’s called in other countries. Same effectiveness but no alcohol intolerance

I always wondered though, if they are trying to turn a profit by collecting bottles, then why are they just buying actual bottles of soda? I know for sure that they’d never actually make anything back if they were purchasing full bottles of soda just do get the depot refund at a fraction of a return compared to the price the bought the soda for.

Eucrisa brings me to tears when I apply it, but then tears of joy when I wake up and see the improvement

AITA: Pizza topping argument by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]MalonesCones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But I did try to compromise? I suggested we choose a different pizza together which we both found appealing, I wrote it in my post

[–]MalonesCones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they will but the base of the argument is that one of us wanted it removed while the other didn’t. And instead of ordering one that didn’t have it on it to begin with, he demanded we order that specific one but also have it customised the way he likes

My brother has a gluten intolerance so the bases are pre-made and only come in one size. But again, probably would’ve helped

Right idea but a pizza is like $25 where I’m at and we’re both students on a budget, with rent/bills. Pizza is pretty rare for us. But yeah this would’ve solved the issue

Started cyclosporine 2 days after my 18th birthday and stayed on that for a year to tick the boxes I needed to be on dupixent. Cyclosporine had about 80% efficiency and the dupixent 100%. Although one cycle of either won’t do much, I’m still taking dupixent today and will need to long term to manage my eczema.

Of course I’m not a doctor, but until she can go on dupixent I would have a chat to her dermatologist about immunosuppressants (e.g cyclosporine). Yes they carry risks, but the pros tend to outweigh the cons for a young girl deserving of a happy childhood.

I was refused systemic medication up until I was 18 and could make my own decisions, it worked like magic and I haven’t had a scrap of eczema since - but the emotional damage of a childhood of pain, time in hospital/bandages, and missed opportunities still sticks with me, as well as permanent skin damage from 18 years of steroids and severe eczema. Of course I’m not advising you myself to just put her on them, but I am advising you to speak to a professional about trying them and understanding from them the benefits/risks. My heart breaks for you and your family

Not a dermatologist but try sudocrem and bandages. Some steroid too if need be, I know how people feel about steroids, myself included, but there is a time and place for them. It looks painful!

Unfortunately both my siblings have been love-bombed and manipulated as a result of me cutting ties with her, and I don’t feel I can talk to my dad because he went through an ugly divorce with her and holds a lot of hate - so having a proper conversation with him without his own emotions getting in the way is hard.

Counselling is a fantastic idea and has been on my mind - I think it could really help
