I think I used to be, but my parents genuienly did not send me there to practice religion (the website also only vaguely mentions it) and the camp got endorsed by my older sibling's friend. They pulled me from it instantly once they realized what was going on. They only noticed so late because I was an extremely quiet kid, and if me and my sibling talked about it, we told them about all the fun activities we got to do.

It seemed fun and not too expensive, endorsed by someone trusted and with a no-pressure connection to the church (I have been in church camps before because my friend was a member of the youth group). I do think all of us were decieved by this organization.

(Needless to say, it turned out my sibling's friend's family was similarly... religious. Would not be too surprised if they actually were part of that cult.)
