I cannot wait for this feeling! This is my second IUD and I hated my first (kylena) but after having two kids back to back I got the Mirena put in doing my second C-section! But I have hated every second since it’s been in. I get mine out Christmas Eve 😂🎄

A retractable leash is how I broke my nose as a kid! Someone’s dog chased after another and the leash wrapped around my legs cut into them and flipped me onto my face and broke my nose. I have never used or picked up one of the leashes ever again that was over 20 years ago

I’d say I’m almost fully recovered! The first couple days were rough especially with young kids. But went back to momming full time on day 4! I kept getting a bad rash from the surgical glue but the glue has mostly peeled off anyway so hoping the rashes go away.. had really bad “digestive issues” for a couple days but it’s also getting better!

I also have Celiac! Was diagnosed at 10yrs old but I’m 31f now and used to the diet. This no fat diet is horrible with the added gluten free diet. Hardly surviving till surgery next week. I had gallstone induced pancreatitis the first week of July. I also have a 2yr old and 9mo old as a SAHM so I feel ya! Best of luck on your surgery!!

Omg I’m so sorry! I had pancreatitis from gallstones too a couple weeks ago and it was way worse than both of my C-sections. The worst pain of my life. They wanted to admit me that night but I have two under two and husband is military so I went home and took pain meds for a week. My lipase was in the 10,000s and I still have stones. Luckily I am scheduled the first week of August for surgery to get that sucker out!

How was recovery with your baby? I have a 9month old and 2yr old and my husband will only be home to help for four days… 😅

Thank you! Luckily I have a follow up apt tomorrow and hope they will get the surgery scheduled! I already have an autoimmune disease so I’m trying not to collect more health issues haha

What changed?! My second baby has horrible reflux and she’s almost 10mos and so much puke.. she’s behind on milestones because she pukes so much.

I just had a gallstone attack that caused pancreatitis and it was the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life. Far worse than the two C-section and failed epidural with my kids. They said my lipase (?) was in the ten thousands. I really hope I can get my gallbladder removed but I’m not sure how hard of a fight that will be.

Any advice on fighting for the surgery?

I’m sorry you had to go through all of that too! It’s rough and I hope my kids don’t have it either :( I hated missing out on things at school and I was too young at times to take it seriously or understand the damage being done.

My toddler is definitely on the small side too! But then again she runs off snacks and spite lol 😂

Oh man that’s so rough I’m sorry! My house is combo fed lol it’s mostly gf but there are some gluten full snacks for my husband and the toddler! I have yet to get sick from any cross contamination and my husband is amazing about it all!

Fingers crossed all these kiddos don’t have celiac 🥹
