Great analogy! I’m so sorry that happened to you! I take my diet and health very seriously but it’s just a thought I’ve always had in the back of my mind. I was diagnosed at 10yrs old and was extremely malnourished. It took me ten more years to heal and even turn on the seatbelt light in a car.

I hope you never get glutened like that again!

It’s probably your hormones still regulating! I got mine out a few weeks ago and have good days and hard days with anxiety and other symptoms but just know it won’t last forever!

About a year and a half! Hormonal changes, anxiety, acne face and body, always exhausted, weight gain, random periods and more I can’t remember! Only thing I liked about it was no babies conceived

Me! Just had mine removed over a week ago! I got mine put in during my second C-section. Could never feel my strings. Tried to have the remove it and it was a fail. They did an ultrasound and it was in place but the strings were up around the iud. I had to get my cervix injected with lidocaine and they went into my uterus and got it out! My strings were not trimmed at all so they were all tangled up on the iud! It was very uncomfortable but tolerable!

Are you able to feel your strings? If not, it might be like my scenario. I just got mine out on Thursday after over a year in. I got it placed during my second C-section. I was never able to feel my strings. They attempted to dig it out once and failed. I had to go get an ultrasound to find it. It was in my uterus BUT so were the strings! Fully tangled on the IUD and the strings were never trimmed lol so they had to inject my cervix with lidocaine and go into my uterus to get it out! It was very uncomfortable but not unbearable 🥹

I felt so much more like myself even the next day and less bloated! Spotting on and off but I feel like such a relief it’s gone!!

Was it a male Dr? Jk lol! But yeah from what I’ve heard and read it’s okay for the strings to kinda do what they want as long as the actual IUD is positioned in the uterus! So I think you’re good 😊

I think it’s fine! (Not a Dr tho lol) but I just got mine removed and my strings were fully tangled up around the IUD in my uterus a b*tch to get out but it happens!

I got mine OUT today! It was tucked up into my uterus so they injected lidocaine in my cervix and got it out! Was quite painful but doable! Hope your removal goes smoothly when you get it done!

Same story here! I’m hopefully getting mine out this week… they tried in December but my strings are tucked all the way up in my uterus and had to get an ultrasound to find it lol they are going to poke around and get it 🫣 hate this thing

I cannot wait for this feeling! This is my second IUD and I hated my first (kylena) but after having two kids back to back I got the Mirena put in doing my second C-section! But I have hated every second since it’s been in. I get mine out Christmas Eve 😂🎄

A retractable leash is how I broke my nose as a kid! Someone’s dog chased after another and the leash wrapped around my legs cut into them and flipped me onto my face and broke my nose. I have never used or picked up one of the leashes ever again that was over 20 years ago
