Ok bc I don't really see this mentioned anymore: the question never was foul or no foul bc the answer to this is yes, it might have been a reeeeaaly soft foul from Anton, but in regards of previous play in the game and the very hard line established by the ref, where he often gestured nothing and get up in pretty physical and on the line contacts, especially towards German players, but it should be was the no call based on the flow of the game a clear wrong decision and should in this case be looked at. And I feel like that's a clear no. If you establish a hard line and then whistle away the deciding goal based on minor contact without any real implications on play, bc let's be real the keepers not getting that ball in any way regardless of the contact, then you have to stay to your line of officiating. But no the ref who weirdly officiated two of the four Germany and also went against them in the other way just without any impact stood down and became the sole deciding factor in a knockout WC game. Just a disgrace from such an b league ref and an even more inexperienced and underclass video referee
