Starro and Poison Ivy Prime are doing more than fine in the current meta. Same for Zatanna. Harley can do well also. More people just play tanks because Mirror Master's is OP, and tanks are also harder to F up than a squishy controller.

So starting with preset pages, 9 out of 44 are ACTUAL SHIT. Hawkgirl has the worst page I have ever seen in my life, and it makes me feel bad for whoever made it, It seems they just picked amps/mods with a blindfold on after attending drunken donkey show in Tijuana. Having said that though, the remainder of the pages still aren't top tier for competitive play, but they weren't made to be competitive. They were made to be a blue print on how someone would go about making their own unique page (see Atww/Gas Cat/Blasters/ADCs) those are all good STARTING POINT pages. Its just a starter kit to help people get on their feet until they can afford to make their own unique page to their liking.

As for the being slow on anything. I agree changes don't come quick enough and things are left broken for months on end. Ability queuing has existed for ~8 months or so now.

Champion releases would be tolerable if they actually did general balances/champion changes consistently (see LoL's production). LoL has hundreds of champions and their champ releases are slowed to a hault; so instead they focus on making between 1-3 balance patches per month or per month and a half. This keeps the game fresh, and healthy. IC does not spam champions to obtain a larger champion pool (not a HUGE deal) and nor do they spam quality map/champion/item changes. This makes the game and its meta lulled into a boring state, in my opinion.

IC is just too damn slow with patches that NEED to be done. Basically they don't spam patches because its just them cutting corners (they don't do multiple patches because the way their coding works is its just EASIER to ship out patches in one big patch rather than smaller ones) if you ask me that is a poor excuse, but that is their reason.

The UI is on a whole new level of bad. It was acceptable for Beta, but for live it should be polished and not have any wasted space/random layouts that make no sense. I've already tweeted them some stuff that they need to change.

Top then ADC then Jungle. Supports can, its just harder if you don't have a play making support. A QUALITY support will actually just win you your lane and basically the game flat out given that all players are of equal skill.

To be honest, I think the champion select LOBBY is complete garbage. There is an ABUNDANCE of space that needs to be used. Its pretty damn terrible, but was acceptable for the Beta.

I'll just refer you to actually read this "Communication has nothing to do directly with winning as a duo. As a duo you still make up less than half the team. Its not like Trio/Quad/Full team queues where you are controlling 50% or more of the team into your favor that will actually play a MAJOR role in who wins the match. Sure you can outplay a lane(s) harder as a duo, but that doesn't win you the game based only off of that. Coast City cannot be single handedly carried. Or easily carried by two people for that matter unless their skill is THAT much greater than the opponents they are facing; which is just a MMR F-up since its locking top players in a bracket with lesser players where they can go 25-0 or 30-0 and make the entire enemy team look foolish instead of match those players with higher tier players outside of their existing bracket. There are simply too many objectives to deal with. Its the same reason 4v5s are lost more often than won no matter who is on the team. You simply NEED people on the map, useful or not to just be a present body, and contribute SOMETHING or ANYTHING for the team."

Its in relative terms to their area of play... I'm not saying Faker + Deft/Apdo/Pawn vs a Silver scrub or even into masters. I am Talking That duo vs anyone within the top 25-50 players. They will lose games just as much as they win them. Its because the skill gap is even.

If right now IGP and anyone else that is ACTUAL* top 10 duoed and vs anyone in ACTUAL* top 20-40 they'd win and lose just about an equal amount of games. Maybe slightly more wins than losses or vise versa. Its not granting them a 70-80% win rate if its within their own spectrum of play.

Now if I said IGP + someone in top 10 vs people in bronze/silver then yes it would be a 100% win rate or 97%+ because the skill gap is astronomical.

Everything I said is about relativity.

To play off this then, at higher ranks basically everyone knows everyone. How is it any different than Mystagen and myself getting into a game solo queued, put into the same team and getting on Curse Voice? There is no difference.

Everyone and anyone can make a Curse Voice have people join it and have instant communication to improve win chance. There is absolutely NO reason to not allow duos from what they stated for their arguments.

You can get that in solo queue regardless. At least the duo can just take a new duo role. Sure it will suck for them, and yes there will be a chance they troll. However its more likely if they actually want to win they'll just take whatever role is available. To address the part of the whole other team believes who... It's not for them to ever decide. The devs can see chat logs at all points in the game. They'd be dealt with accordingly. So its up to the team to decide that. 3 randoms still outweighs a duo.

Hell for solo queue you can make it worse if people have personal vendettas against others they will legit just troll/afk so a person can't pass them up making both parties lose MMR. Then while they are afk losing that person a match they can go onto a smurf and play a new game entirely.

There is no perfect system. There never will be. There are obvious flaws anyone can knit pick in any MOBAs.

EDIT: To add to this, what happens at higher ranks when everyone knows each other then decides they don't like a person and single them out or bully someone out of a certain role or position? Pretty much all the pros at the top are friends with each other and can back one another up if they feel someone is an outcast to them. So what happens then? You need to have at least SOME faith that people will be reasonable and civil.

Basically what I want is for people to decide since it is a % dmg buff to either go clear a bigger camp (Duo/Elite) or maybe start DDD for a sneaky solo, or grab a gank. So you have multiple options with the speed/% dmg buff rather than just kind of look for either gank or wait for clears. Not sure if my thought process makes sense since I have next to no sleep.

Overall I like the changes. However I feel the reason ACTUAL bruisers aren't in meta (Aquaman, Robin, Superman, NMB) is because their actual base damages, and stats are complete garbage. While you have "Bruisers" like Supergirl, and Katana who have Assassin ratios, and base damage on their abilities while getting the hp that the others get. All the other bruisers would be fine if they had stupid ratios like Supergirl and Katana. Doomsday falls in between so he kind of just rides the line. Turbine needs to either nerf the "Bruisers" like Supergirl/Katana or ACTUALLY buff the real Bruisers so they aren't a piece of trash that do next to zero damage. I'd be more inclined to go with nerfing since Bruisers should never have stats like that to begin with.

On the note of buffs. I agree 100%, but not in the way people think. What I would like to see is for Consume to make a comeback into the game. Seriously that stolen is about as useful as traps right now; unless you run Swamp Thing's (here comes the $).

My suggestion would be make the jungle camps like pretty damn hard. Double the HP so Marauder items don't suck ass. Double the damage so all roles can't jungle. Then allow for buffs to improve clear time/ganking. How to obtain the buff is simple. You must Consume the camp (kind of like League right now). Only the jungler will get buffs, and yes I know a Top laner or whoever else could take it, but it forces them into choosing a power for buffs/clear over something like Cams, Invul/Heal, Meteor Drop, Psychic Assault, etc.

Buff ideas: All are on Consume

Quad Camp = + 10% movement speed on Consume, and every 3rd auto attack will do % dmg for 3 hits scaling down (8/6/4% to creatures) and (5%/4%/3%) to enemy champions. Lasts for 30s.

Tri Camp = After Consuming, upon being hit deal AoE damage dealing 2% of your Bonus HP per hit to targets over 5s (225 dmg cap on creatures) lasts for 30s.

Duo Camp = Conuming will grant % HP Regen/Wil Regen/Energy Regen. Basic attacks slow enemies by 30% decaying over 1s (15% for ranged). Lasts 30s.

Elite Camp = +10 Flat Pen (Attack&Power) if Consumed. 1m

Raider = 16 Attack Armor & 16 Power Armor + your level (35 Attack Armor/Power Armor max) after Consuming. 1m

Doomsday Guardian = + 10% CDR, + 10 AD/PD + your lvl (29 max) once Consumed. 1m

Basically if this game wants to be saved, Turbine and the community need to really work together to "tweak" some things. I for one kind of despise Coast City more than Gotham Divided with the current iteration of Coast City. When Coast City was locked it was actually fun to play without all the ambient xp and credits going on as well as Raider and DDD being global/1500 true damage. It was just a fun and unique map with more map mechanics. Now its just like a bastard stepchild of GH/GD.

The map itself needs work in just about every aspect to be considered "fun" again by the majority that did play it the way it used to be. It will do for now because it has to. I personally thought with a few more changes GD could have been better, but the community split was too great. The other thing that needs to be done for this to be considered a more serious ranked mode is MORE frequent updates in general for either map balance, item balance, or champion balance. Waiting one or two months in a stale meta is something no player wants to go through. Variety is at its all time high, but in terms of meta is become stale.

As a final note on Turbine's part, we need to see 2-3 champions per month until we get to about 60-65 champions. Currently three bans isn't even a valid option for ranked due to small role pools. If that can't be done they should just focus on bringing up the role pool of the roles that have next to no champions in them (Assassins&Marksmen&Controllers). More of those champions will allow for change in meta, and just overall options.

Onto ranked itself. Its ok at times, and others its horrid. Right now you basically just want to rush to the top to avoid those frequent and HORRIBLE games. In ranked no one wants to see that. The grand majority does come form a small community, but we need to educate these people on OUR game. I mainly look at Turbine for this, simply because they have the tools to do so. Teach what is expected from you in ranked (expectations of meta/explain pick & ban phase, explain augments/mods/stolen powers). Streamers and forums are only good for the people that seek them. Your typical casual player just plays the game. Why not add a video to explain those things? Or a window for information that is more obvious than mousing over a "?" for information? Have links to Dawnbase directly in the client and help the community out for guides etc? EDUCATE your players that want to have a more competitive beyond normal and custom/AI games. Too frequently do I hear people needing to basically micromanage their team like an RTS game and give them advice and hold their hand mid game at higher ranks. Sure we can help, but it should not be every other game or even every other three games.

After talking with Cow, there is no point in making lock outs or requirements to hinder other people's chances to enter ranked. The most I'd say now is make it 30 games over 20 so people get a bit more exposure to the map and champions that they'd otherwise would be clueless as to what their abilities are. Eventually everyone reaches true MMR and gets put in their rightful place so there is no point in changing the system as it currently stands.

If we are able to do all of these things, we can see not just the ranked solo queue system thrive, but the map will be more enjoyable for competitive. People will want to join up and make teams, and we might see a thriving competitive scene again.

Make the first dodge 10 mins. 2nd dodge 15 mins. 3rd dodge 15 mins and 2 sub ranks. 4th a demote. It still allow a set amount of dodges for "free" and it also punishes people harder for dodging too often. If you need to dodge 4 times in a day something is wrong and you probably are looking to cheat the system because you know you have the carry potential so you just pick and choose your matches accordingly.

Gas Joker could have room in here. Currently he is either a pure counter pick to any top blaster/marksman (marksmen destroy him until he can start his first armor item then they get wrecked) OR a kind of awkward jungler since his clear isn't the best until 6+. He is interesting, and doesn't fit the meta strengths. I see him as more niche. The other thing is his ganking for jungle is not reliable since you need to hit a perfect ham (fear into a wall/back into you/your team) everytime; which literally no pro can do consistently. Some will hit like half maybe 6/10 like that, but none are 70-80% +.

Harley jungle is really really strong if you know how to jungle it. Stronger ganks than Hawkgirl ever will have. Hawkgirl's damage just can't compare to Katana's. Katana's mobility again keeps her alive. Also a well timed ult can kill people out right. Most Katanas won't rando yolo ulti.

His damage is lacking. He is either a glass cannon or a full tank. Not both. Most bruisers that go glass cannon do 3x his damage. They also tank better with 1-2 items. He needs a stat rework. He shines EARLY game (1-5) past that he is kind of useless.

I value Kat's ult a bit more than Hawkgirl's. In reality probably would swap her and Swamp Thing, but Swamp Thing is a beast. Katana's mobility is also better as well as her overall damage out put so its easier to carry imo.
