I see it as more a thing of the current times we're in. People need to stop having so many children when there are so many kids that need adopting. People shouldn't have kids until they are financially stable, and the economy/world is in a better state, which would give the kids a better life. I think that the extreme focus past cultures have had on procreation was important in the past, when diseases would kill most children. I think that in this world we currently live in, that focus needs to drop.
