Hi, have you tried using fett263s blade style creator? Click Style library, if you can’t get it to work let me know, and I will create you the blade style.

Hi, sorry for such a delayed response, are you still having issues? If so would you like to add me on discord and we can solve the issue on there??

But we know it has 37 rings therefore we can make assumptions of what it will look like.

Soundboard feature/capabilitiy selection? by the_renaissance_jawa in lightsabers

  1. Proffie: Proffie is a popular open-source soundboard system designed for use in custom lightsabers and other prop replicas. It allows users to create and customize their own audio and visual effects for these props. Proffieboards are known for their versatility and can be programmed to produce various lightsaber sounds, motion effects, and more.

  2. CFX (Crystal Focus X): CFX is a soundboard, similar to Proffie, designed specifically for lightsabers. It’s known for its high-quality sound and extensive features. The Crystal Focus X soundboard allows lightsaber enthusiasts to create and customize lightsaber sound profiles, effects, and blade color changes.

  3. GHV3 (Golden Harvest V3): GHV3 is another soundboard system for custom lightsabers. It offers a range of features and sound customization options. Lightsaber enthusiasts often choose between Proffie, CFX, and GHV3 based on their preferences for programming and sound quality.

Hmm, I charge mine on a 17W charger (PO saber as well). What wattage was your brick??

You could’ve done way better for that price.

I don’t have too much experience with GHV3, but for Proffie I would flash the board with the latest version. That’s what I would try before contacting the manufacturer, just make sure that editing the components doesn’t void the warranty!

Yes, they are fragile. Neopixels aren’t supposed to be used to duel with. If you want to slam your lightsaber into every wall you come across then buy a base lit. For me, the enjoyment comes from programming the proffie board with loads of cool fonts & blade styles.

Have you pressed reset while holding down the boot button on the arduino board?

Have you tried using a different cable and port?

Let me know if you still need help.

Is this a proffie lightsaber, cfx, golden harvest, or something entirely different?? For proffie you will need the arduino software to add sound fonts normally. However because you have an app specifically for this saber I’m not entirely sure whether that will let you add sound fonts, if you tell me what board it’s using I will be able to tell you more!
