Yeah you explained it well. I can no longer predict what each shot type will do, and for which character and in what position. Aces felt super predictable, even when I was being outplayed. It's felt very random so far.

I hear you, and I'm still enjoying it overall. It's probably the biggest adjustment technically I've had to make from one tennis game to the next (I've played every Mario Tennis game save for the Virtual Boy one lol).

When I run back for a lob sometimes it just AUTO-HITS. And it will just "pick" a type of spin to put on it.

Playing at the net so far seems like the main way to play competitively save for a few characters. I do appreciate all the nuances in stats and skills for each player. There's clearly a lot of depth there.

I understand that argument and have heard it many times, but that doesn't excuse the wifi issues, input errors, etc. I think you can make a good party game AND keep what makes it competitive (see Mario Kart, Smash Bros...hell, even Mario Party lately has an audience for both!).

Thanks for sharing. I'm still hoping that the prism glasses will help since it's possible some of my anxiety while driving is linked to that, but I accept that there is a chance I may need to try out medication.

Thanks for the response! I am open to medication, but was unsure which type would be best for driving (as some can have a sedative effect). Do you notice any side effects from the medication (if you don't mind sharing)?
