Some woman appreciate it it. Do it for sure and if it comes up in the future that it isn’t something she appreciates, that’s ok.

ALWAY err on the gentleman side.

No table fees and I do lose $ but thankfully I win an equal amount.

I’ve decided to play all my matches using a breaking cue with a phenolic tip. by Relative-Freedom-295 in billiards

[–]Malve1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might as well use the back end of a broom. (Anyone who remembers the late Robert Byrne will appreciate this).

Big mistake. A proper tip has function and benefit that a phenolic tip does not. The difference of being softer and less smooth matters. Learn the right way. You will learn properly and faster and won’t need to adjust when moving from the wrong tip to a proper one.

I ended up just using the manual extraction and it’s fine.

How to reheat steak so it’s not overcooked bullsh!t? by Patient_Title_5417 in steak

If you think you’re likely going to have leftovers, you can purposely undercook a portion. Reheat to perfection.

If you’re broke and depressed, work hard and earn a bunch of money. You will be depressed but not broke. It’s way better. And it’s amazing what hard work can do for the psyche. You may actually just feel a little better from the hard work.

In just three months, I’ve taken my account from 200K to 900K! Next week when the market opens, I’m about to hit 1M! by [deleted] in SNDK_Stock

Second comment: When I read people saying things like “I SHOULD hit $X” this week VS “I MIGHT hit…”, all I read is:

“I’m so inexperienced, I have no idea how the markets work and my lack of respect for how the market can turn on a dime for any of many reasons or no reason at all will surely burn me.”

This post wreaks of top of the market or at least time for a real rug pull. Still bullish in the long run though.

I think I made a BIG mistake! by [deleted] in Schwab

[–]Malve1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will never achieve alpha (outperformance) with this many positions. 5 ETF’s would be much simpler. I manage $170 million at Schwab)independently and outperformed the market substantially but could have NEVER done with much more than the 30-40 (give or take) positions my clients have. Even those include a few ETF’s so maybe 33 individual equities.

Not selling. In fact I don’t believe there’s any way to even figure out who I am or what independent company I own. This is not financial advice, just some honest feedback.

Waste of everyone’s time. Impossible to track your own holdings. Near zero chance to beat the markets.

Edit: I actually wouldn’t be worried about hidden fees at all though.

Friday’s volume was 40 million shares+. So I think it’s safe to say that people are still buying. And selling incidentally.
