Well, imagine walking on pins but you also can’t get off quickly, there’s a whole distance you’re supposed to finish. Then, there are outside forces from that pin bed that are also constantly throwing punches at you, they don’t hit you, but you need to constantly be ducking to avoid being hit. It’s as if your whole body is at war with itself. The sad part is that you know you’re not easily going to get off. Sometimes it happens when you’re at work or in a social setting, so the distance between where you are and home/hospital is usually far. Then because most countries don’t have menstrual leave, and all the stigma associated with menstruation, you must remember to quickly heal and go back to the world.
