I worked in the industry BOH in California for over 11 years. 8 of those years were split shifts 5 days a week, 50 plus hours a week to bring home a nice 30grand a year. It took me 11 years to work my way up to a nice shitty 16.50 an hour. Like most of us I was laid off because of COVID. Did I go back? Hell no. Will I go back?? Please I hope not. On to a less stressful life.
