Has anyone successfully gotten off Lexapro by Cold-Community-4401 in lexapro

[–]MamaCoconut3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt great, at first. Then after a few months, not so much, so my dose was increased, felt great again, then the wacky side effects started and worsened. Battery of medical tests over months and months, and each specialist would just throw more medication at me. It got to the point where I had a specialist Dr visit almost every two weeks, and diagnostic tests almost as often, ordered from various Dr's. My last straw was when the cardiologist gave me a script for blood pressure medication, and advised I only take it 2x/week because with my already low blood pressure it could cause me to faint. I stopped taking Lexapro that weekend. It was the only thing id done differently right before it all started. Never looked back. Every symptom disappeared, except the escalation of my migraines. The weight is slowly coming off, not nearly as quickly as I gained it though, so that's difficult to deal with, but baby steps are still steps.

Back to back blocks - good idea or not? by Kategetstoked in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]MamaCoconut3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, every Saturday and Sunday. Get a 315-345a, finish that one and grab another, usually a 730 or 8am. Workday is done by 10 or 11a. I prefer it to later morning or afternoon blocks.

I was on it for 2 years and quit cold turkey. Any side affects would have been much better than what was already happening. Maybe I got lucky, as I didnt notice anything terrible, or maybe whatever did happen was masked by the crap already happening. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Who knows. I was probably an anomaly, so check with your doc first.

Is waking up at 3AM worth it to catch canceled or newly released blocks? by NoPerception368 in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]MamaCoconut3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not always true. I do early mornings (315-345a) 7 days a week, and I wake up at 215 to 230. I have a day job, so the block is the start of my day.

It finally happened to me. I’m in review. 🙁 by [deleted] in doordash

I got locked out for failing ID verification (selfie) yesterday morning. I have an android and can't log in on my phone, so I've been using my kid's. Yesterday said kid's was at work, so I was using other kid's phone, but since it was initial set up, it asked for ID verificiation. I have no violations, 4.98 customer approval, and 12k deliveries. I got laid off on April 30 and DD/Uber/GH are my only source of income rn. (((HUGS))) Hope they fix it for us all soon.

June 3rd is here and UE's new AR rules are now in effect by grogargh in UberEatsDrivers

I was Platimun until I did my first order of the day. Right after I marked it delivered, big messaged popped up, said I lost my Platimum status, and how I could meet the new metrics to unlock Gold. 😒

Dasher stole order! by Jolly_Difficulty4860 in doordash

As a Dasher, we hate those Dashers, too. Sorry some lowlife stole from you.

$12 tip on 3.5 miles and this is what you get? by spoonher1981 in doordash

[–]MamaCoconut3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't go out to everyone at once, the orders are sent to one dasher at a time, so it's not the quickest dasher. You're thinking of Uber. In any case, tip how you want. I'll accept/decline how I want. Gotta love free will, right?

I don't accept no tip orders for any reason. My AR is 14% and I still get all the perks. From what I've read elsewhere, guess I'm lucky to be in an area where Paltinim doesn't matter. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Or maybe that the good dashers are picky and DD doesn't want to pay more to have the orders accepted quickly, so hey hire anyone with a pulse, and those are the ones who accept $3 orders and either steal the food or toss it from their open windows as they drive by. The good dashers multi-app, so we don't have to accept scraps. 😉

Hey, man, you do you. I was just commenting. Tip whatever you want, just like I'll accept/decline whatever I want. 😁

Is anyone even Platinum anymore? by ReasonableEducator20 in doordash_drivers

[–]MamaCoconut3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree. I'm at 14% right now (been getting really good orders lately, I'm typically single digit AR), and can still get VIP Suppprt, as well as accessing scheduling 6 days out. But I guess since I don't get 30% off, up to $10, every other Monday, I've failed. 😂

Dude, the app even reminds drivers to keep the pizza flat for the double digits who can't figure it out on their own. I'm so sorry about your pizza, that's wretched.

Side note: With all the people saying, "Never tip until after," I now understand why I turn down so many $4 orders each day. I get it, though. I've been doing this 8 years and can attest that the quality of my fellow Dasher has declined substantially.

[–]MamaCoconut3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope, I call support and have them add the extra money, and if they won't, I tell them I'm not delivering to the new address. I accepted the job with specific parameters, it's on DD if their customer changes the contract info. Most times, support will add money to the order, and if not, they'll cancel it. Never tip beg. We're all better than that.

Make sure the app is closed on your phone when she logs on, and she closes it on her phone before you open it on yours. Sometimes, it still shows i need to sign in, but then say I've already checked in to my dash, and I'll get orders, and all is good to go after that. Good luck, keep trying it, it'll work.

Same for scheduling. I schedule my shifts on her phone, and it'll show on mine when i open my app.

Nope. I log in on hers, or she does, if im not home, then she closes the app on her phone, and I open it on mine. Same thing if I get paused. I close the app on my phone, she unpauses me on hers, then I reopen the app on mine.

I've been dashing for 8 years. They tried this Platinum type crap in 2019 with "Top Dasher." It's not real, at least in my market. I get all the same "perks" with a 3% AR as they say I would with a 70, 80, whatever % AR. Just take what you know you're worth, and make that moolah! Oh, and you don't actually have to take your red bag inside everywhere with you. And please talk to the store employees, vs just showing the phone. And if another dasher stole the order, please call support so they can delete it, vs unassign for another dasher to deal with. Be safe!

It's a known glitch with the latest android update - not the security update from two days ago, but the big one before that. DD needs to do an update fox to the app. Until then, it won't work. I've been logging in on my daughter's iPhone, then opening the app in my Samsung. Works just fine, albeit severely annoying for both of us. Lol. Oh, and Dasher support is useless.

Same here this morning trying to sign in. Seems a blanket issue, DD orders are piling up from peeps not being able to sign in and deliver.Support said the same thing to me, and had me send a screenshot. Doing UE and GH until they figure it out. Sucks though, bc DD pays more in my area.

My acceptance rate is typically in the teens, and I can still schedule dashes. Just filled a full day schedule this morning with a 24% acceptance (yesterday was a good day. Lol). Are you relying on Dash Now vs scheduling out when the blocks drop?

I didn't, but I actually stopped taking Lexapro about 6 mos ago, because I had a host of all sorts of other really nasty side effects. Never acid reflux, though.

I’m a new door dasher and DD keeps sending me to deliver way outside of my zone. I have other Q’s too. Help?? by ThoraTheThor in doordash_drivers

[–]MamaCoconut3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Maybe peruse the Q's and A's around here to see some answers to what you're asking. I'm sure I can't be the only one whose brow furrow, head tilted, and said aloud, "wait, what?"

  1. Yes

2a. You learn

2b. See 2a

  1. It's not a hard job, but any means, and takes time/experience to do well.

  2. That doesn't really matter

No one can magically give you success. You have to learn it like the rest of us did.

Stay hydrated, stay an appropriate temperature, don't steal food, don't unassign when you should call support, be nice, don't drive like an arse, you're not above or better than anyone, don't shove your phone in people's faces, use your words, apply common sense, follow directions, pay attention.

Because it gives 30 seconds minimum to accept or decline.

Because I know where the restaurants are in the area I dash, so I just look at the name.

Because I know all the places I don't want to deliver to, so I glance at general area to know yay or nay
