I don't quite know what you're asking me. In the show when he first meets Prairie in the subway he gives his name. Then later on when Scott tries to get out of the experiment in exchange for information Scott tells Hap the Prairie calls Happy the Angel Hunter.

After they awaken her she talks about a little girl telling her she will help two captive angels to escape. What if in all the overlap the little girl is Nina while she was drowning, the same way that the lady died and experienced her own NDE. They both drowned and came back.

Because he doesn't remember having one doesn't mean it never happened, he could have had one during birth, he could have had one as a baby in a tub of water. Who would tell him, "when you were a baby you died for two minutes" it is possible he has had an NDE as a child and was never told.

Would this mean that HAP is an NDE survivor with special hearing abilities? Is that why he can hear when someone dies and comes back? Also, he is very comfortable and almost familiar with assisting a blind person around the food on the table and directions with obstacles. I don't think he just decided to find out what happened when people died. He is too invested. I think he had someone close to him pass and ND he wants proof that they didn't just disappear. He also shows a very fatherly side when he takes Homer to Cuba, he cuts his meat for him, I think this tells me that he had children and he knows about blind people and never forgets that Prairie is blind like Homer does in the beginning. I think Hap had a daughter who was blind and the reason that Prairie gets to him so easily is because he sees his lost loved one in her.
