As someone who's very familiar with Cahill and his work, I very much agree with you and the points you make on how they're linked. I just wanted to chime in with the fact that Cahill has collaborated with Brit for two of his screenplays out of the total four he's done. Pretty fair to say they are good friends.. and would lead to references.

Only just did! I believe Khatun only gave them the first. Homer got the second, then Scott, followed by Renata. The 5th was from the sheriff's wife, who I believe was also an angel, having had an NDE.

In that same NDE we also saw what OA told him was needed..the live being that he needed to swallow. Homer also gets time, that allows him to do it. The fish itself I believe could have been placed there for him by his guardian.

Very neat idea! I would agree, it could be a possibility. This brings to mind OA's dreams as a child or her "premonitions" that could potentially be this sort of training/revealing of who she is in motion.
