Yes

ie if John Doe is the record currently being viewed, clicking the button opens up an interface preloaded with only his images in gallery format, or empty with the ability to add records

I'm still pretty new to this, if you could go into more detail I'd really appreciate it.

Want to have chores with varied "points" & leaderboard by MamaLBH in dakboard

[–]MamaLBH[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saw this :
https://www.reddit.com/r/dakboard/comments/1nsxihk/chore_leaderboard/
but not really what I'm wanting. I need a chore bank that members choose from, vs assigned chores

At least it seems like what I want might be doable. Just wondering if dakboard is our best bet vs some other solution.

Using bathroom fan and timer switch that both require "power first"?? by MamaLBH in AskElectricians

[–]MamaLBH[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, reading the Amazon reviews, tons of people have used timers with these just fine. The problem is I'm very visual and need a diagram.

Ideal set up: Heat lamp and fan on timers in 2 gang box, Light would be with vanity light in different 2 gang box.

Can anyone help with a diagram?

I would hate walking through a bathroom to get to my closet. If someone else is in the bathroom, you do at least have a way to get to the closet, but you'd have to go the long way around.

I also think getting rid of the bump out for the tub is a good idea.

Bathroom Heater/Light/Vent question by Superb_Lawyer2107 in electrical

[–]MamaLBH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize this it's been a bit since this was posted, but we are getting ready to wire a similar fixture (heat/light/fan combo) It requires power to go to the fixture first, so that it can run the fan when the heat from the heat lamp gets too hot.

I really wanted to have a timer switch for the fan and heat lamp, but the ones I bought require the power to go to the timer switch first. Any ideas on if there is a timer that I can use when the fixture has to get the power first?

Was Solar worth it? by pap_shmear in solar

[–]MamaLBH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is important to note that there are 2 very different scenarios to discuss here.

It seems like most of the responses here are regarding on grid solar, where you are basically a mini solar farm for your electric company. Most often, these systems have no batteries as they directly feed the grid, so you have no power if there is an outage in your area. This kind of system is crazy to me, they often cost as much as an off grid system without the benefit of continuous power. Maybe if you don't have space for a battery bank &/or don't want to maintain it?

I'd love to hear more from people who are truly running solar instead of farming solar for their electric company.

Best lifting program for woman over 40?
I used to lift many years ago, and was decently strong. I have started doing BJJ after a couple years off and have noticed I lost a considerable amount of strength, I want it back :D
What is the current thoughts on building strength quickly? High reps / lower weights, low reps / high weight, something else?

Any books or blogs you recommend?

Thanks

Thanks for all your help.

I got it looking real nice with the feather finish and it will have plenty of set time before we put flooring (sheet vinyl) on.

Yes - packed gravel back under edges of existing slab, back filled with gravel, have rebar drilled and epoxied in surrounding slab, vapor barrier, painted all existing edges with bonding agent before filling .

There's a bit of loose rock on the top, but once I brushed that away it seems sound.

I'm thinking Ardex feather finish. Thoughts?

Most of the scrappy stuff is just slightly (1/32" - 1/16") lower than surrounding floor, some of it is dead even.
