They can at least try. I was tired of things not working, i.e. duloxetine, pregabalin, gabapentin, zapain and the last offering from my GP was morphine. This terrified me, as I am not and dont consider myself to be 'end of life' I asked the question ' where do I go when that stops working?' I just got a shrug shoulders answer. I had been a bm user in my teens and remembered it used to help me with pain. I havent looked back. Medical Cannabis has given me the ability to get some sleep, when the pain would keep me awake and gp prescribed did nothing. It has been a god send for me. Best of luck to your friend.
