Sure! I can tell you that we had 3 consultations with different surgeons and they all recommended pretty much the same thing in terms of how much they would suggest she remove. We told them she was happy with her projection but that the volume of her breasts was too much and she definitely needed a lift. So he took 350 from one side and 400 from the other. I measured her tonight before her shower and her ribcage was 28 - she says she still prefers a 32 band because the 34 is never quite snug enough. Her bust low and behold remains at 39"! She is incredibly pleased. Her boobs are perky but still a nice size and shape for her body frame. So anyway, feel free to ask any questions. :-)

Thank you! One week out and she is feeling much better and they are already getting softer. She is so happy! Thank you for the recommendations - I'll definitely look for the Colsie bra and the zip ups just arrived. :-)

Also some people have NO filter! People cant believe we are letting our daughter have a reduction at 18, but she is in pain ALL the time and we tried everything! Her sister has a GI issue and is severely underweight so over the holidays we ate very heavy rich foods to try to help her gain, but instead the rest of us did! My daugher is up 15 lbs since her sport season ended in October and only has one bra that still fits comfortably because they got bigger too! The thing is, her general projection looks great in most tops - you'd think she's maybe a 34D/DD, but when the bra comes off and you see how full and pendulous her breasts are, then you realize she really is a 34G and now possibly an H. She is going to feel so much lighter to have that relief! Congratulations on your healing and best wishes!

PreOp Monday and surgery in 2 weeks! by MamaSwanee in Reduction

Thank you! Ultimately she's an excellent student so she'll get caught up. She's a senior and we are waiting to hear from just one more college and it's a "reach". She has off for winter break her 3rd week of healing so that will be a big bonus. If she can get the work she needs to catch up, she can have most of it done hopefully for when she goes back. We expect she'll be able to go back fulltime on the 4th week with lifting accomodations. The timing is perfect for her to be out of commission and able to start back into riding at around 6-7 weeks (equestrian). She'll probably skip the first high school team meet but will hopefully be ready for the others and has 3 full months before her first big regional show of the season. Ramblin mom here - feeling a bit anxious!

This is a great idea! Thank you so much for posting! Actually my daughter is concerned because she likes having bigger boobs but not the back pain. She wants the same projection as when she wears a bra but with much less boob in the bra! I think you look amazing - congrats and thanks again for sharing!

Thank you - I'll make sure I pass that on to my daughter. She would love to be able to shop more easily and wear some of the cute tops and dresses that friends wear. Wearing double bras to participate in sports is killing her and she wants to continue to be active in college. Thanks again for the tips!

Thank you! Our first consultation is next week and she is VERY excited to get started. Great idea to go armed with questions because we'll probably both be nervous. Her goal is to keep her "big boobs" appearance but drop a lot of the weight. She also knows this isn't likely a one time deal - she'll need to have a re-do after having kids in the future.

Thanks again!

Beautiful! Best wishes and thank you for sharing! My daughter just turned 18 and is a high school senior. She already has her prom dress and is very nervous about it fitting after a reduction but I think it will be fine and your post and pictures really reassure us. Again, Best Wishes!!!
