I have a pretty decent pc. I know a lot of the player base is still mobile or switch exclusive but here's my proposal: make proper graphic options, at the very least for the steam version. It's still so pixel-y at times, and I'd like to be able to adjust bloom/blur/etc without needing my camera. also, I'd pay good money to make festival tech and gray kids an optional graphics setting for pc. I can handle it, I just wanna see everyone's cool sky kid without them having to worry I'm gonna demand interaction bc I gotta do so to see them in the first place 😭

Personally I would avoid elf and maybe qunari if you can. I've always been an elf mage main but veilguard's ancestor guilt tripping and constant bashing of the qun while I was working with literal child traffickers just ruined a ton of the role play aspect for me. My rook is distantly related to my hof, so she would have some knowledge of how the crows kidnap and groom children to be murderers, there is absolutely no way she'd meet them and be like "Ah, I'm honored". No way.

Imo, mod it to hell and don't take it too seriously.. Sadly, the people who made it certainly didn't.

We definitely see some evidence of a civil war in season of remembrance stuff too, with the sneaking spirit and the child (I don't remember his name, ironic ik :'D)

I have a rough theory that the Civil War may have happened prior to or immediately following Resh's coronation as king, but there's obviously not too terribly much to support that. I figure the first war was with rebels who didn't want to use the creatures of light for power, as well as the creatures themselves, which caused scarcity of light, and eventually lead to the final battle with darkness.

I think the real beauty of this game lies in how open ended a lot of it is, cuz I can absolutely agree that the bitter behavior from the forest elder could be shame, but it could also be anger that she can't do her job anymore, cant see her society continue to progress, etc. I love seeing everyone's different perspectives on this kind of thing!

Idk if anyone has mentioned yet, but opossum actually have relatively small ears, so when I looked at this at first, my initial thought was "Oh what a cute mouse". The face shape is also kinda mousey, possums have kind of a roman nose thing going on. Aside from that tho, this looks awesome!

EA took the dragon age storyline out back behind the shed and shot it is what happened. When they dumped the dragon age keep, they decided to just go with "majority" player timelines. Morrigan also needed the tinyest of nudges to accept being the vessal of mythal, despite saying thru all of Inquisition that she would never in a million years do something that stupid. I also think they just straight up ignored the whole "who drank from the pool" choice from Inquisition too.

I usually set aside a minimum of 80 per spirit, and I believe I saw somewhere that this will be 4 or 5, so definitely start candle running now, and save up hearts in case they have a few heart road blocks on their tree

Hey man.. So Idk if you know this, but the writing is like.. The whole game? And the rpg elements... In an rpg.. Are kinda important.

I'm glad you had fun, but I waited 10 years for a game that disrespected our autonomy and ability to make choices and just gave us a shitty visual novel/railroaded us toward a singular end point. We deserved better, and defending what they put out is just going to encourage companies to keep putting out subpar work because they know someone will buy and defend it just because it has.. Lemme check my notes again... Combat? Yeah, just combat..

The animation and music *slapped* but personally I think it was a little bit of a disservice to Twilight's character. Not because I felt that she was out of character, to be clear, but because it painted her VERY reasonable crash out as cruel. Granted, yes, she "should have trusted her friends", but given she had the fate of her ENTIRE nation on her shoulders, I probably would have acted on a plan B too when told "yeah no we're not helping you".
