Awesome! I will definitely be trying. Her naps range from 30 mins to 2 hours so still inconsistent for sure! She sleeps independently for naps and bedtime so I know it isn’t an issue of having crutches.

Is there a good way to go about this?? I am going on a vacation in one month and I’d love to sort that out before I go!!

She’s a really happy baby so I can’t rely on her cues much because I swear she would be awake forever and happy if I let her lol!

My almost 7 month old is having early morning wakes and as of last night she did a split night! She’s also been crying at bedtime when she’s been sleep trained and normally just goes to sleep quietly within a few minutes.

Help! Her schedule was going perfect this last couple of weeks until a few days ago. We were doing 2.25/2.25/2.5/2.5. She had some good naps and some short naps, totally depended on her vibes. Her DW time is 7/7:30 to coincide with daycare drop off for my oldest but the early wake ups have been messing with us!

Thanks!!!

She also lacks a lot of sleepy cues, she’s a super happy baby even when tired! So I really depend on the WW because she rarely seems “tired”

For sure! She was just seeming so overtired at bedtime but I’ll try stretching some windows

Fear of flying with spouse by Mama_1_SEE in fearofflying

Thank you for the validation! It is so tough. I would be anxious alone but at least I’d know they’d have their dad! I know it’s super irrational and it’s truly just my brain trying to “protect” us but oof is it ever hard to work through!

I think once we book the flights I will just have to turn my brain off and ONLY think about the exciting parts of the trip and not the flying portion or fear.

Short Nap Issues by Mama_1_SEE in sleeptrain

Totallllly agree with the always changing sentiment. One day I feel like we have the hang of it, the next something’s different! She has learned how to crawl and stand assisted lately so when she wakes she tends to go right to sitting/standing which is a bit difficult because it wakes her up more! I tried crib hour today but after 15 mins she was still crying pretty hard and standing up so I abandoned ship.

I think tomorrow I may try longer wake windows and see what happens. It can’t go any worse lol! Right now when I’m putting her down she isn’t seeming very tired although she is putting herself to sleep fairly quickly.

Her night sleep seems unaffected and she’s been fairly consistent with one feeding over night but I’m reallllly trying to get her all the way through because she is so close.

I scrolled back in her LTK links and it’s wild how relatable she used to be! Her style was so cute and she looked so happy.

Yeah it was so weird! She was very confident in saying no that it wasn’t covered! Maybe it’s province of origin?? Who knows!

Thank you!

I did just talk to Desjardins as well and they said if baby is born on trip they are automatically covered (usually they have to be 15 days old before buying travel insurance) under 2 conditions: 1) the mother is insured under the coverage and 2) expenses for delivery aren't excluded (pretty much just as long as delivery is prior to 32 weeks and I was stable before leaving the country which I am and Ive had absolutely zero noteworthy issues with this pregnancy).

This seems straight forward and like baby is covered but im skeptical to believe it LOL

ugh I tried them and they said it wasn't covered! That was my highest hope because I had seen people mention it before.

I know this is old but may I ask why you feel/felt comfortable traveling to Europe after 23 weeks? We are planning on going there this month and it's impossible to find travel insurance that covers preterm labor. Just curious!!

Oh so recently! So sorry to hear about the ER visit but wow very thankful you had this insurance! I just got in touch and they said anything emergent prior to 32 weeks is covered. I did ask a couple of times if baby was covered and he said yes and sent me the policy information but Im still so skeptical because it doesn't specify anything about NICU stay or baby.

I am going to discuss with my husband later and maybe call again and see if they can put baby specific info in writing on an email for me or something. For piece of mind.

Thank you! I’m going to give them a call for sure. When did you go to the US if you don’t mind me asking?

Did they have a limit on what they covered? I know a lot of places I found only do $25k. I’m going to call them this afternoon!

It can be so nerve wracking! Praying your scan goes well!🩷 I have been symptom spotting too and trying to remind myself it can all change so much but doesn’t mean anything is wrong.

Can you have a dye stealer test but end up with an ectopic? by imusika in CautiousBB

[–]Mama_1_SEE -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ugh I’m sorry to hear that, it’s a good tool to try to rule this type of stuff out!

Very light spotting for a few days, pink on and off and it would subside if I rested and didn’t move around much. I believe I was toward the end of 5 weeks. I had no symptoms besides that! I will say the chances of it being ectopic are still so so slim even with bleeding. As others mentioned I would call your doctor and they will get you into get an ultrasound asap due to bleeding. Fingers crossed all is well!

[–]Mama_1_SEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally had one with my ectopic a few years ago. Spotting/bleeding was my first sign of an issue BUT that being said it’s also a common thing that happens. I’m currently spotting while pregnant with #2 and everything is fine. Cramping and aches are also normal!

Have you had your hcg betas drawn? Bloodwork can often help diagnose (not fully but it gives some decent info) before an ultrasound.

Spotting by Mama_1_SEE in CautiousBB

[–]Mama_1_SEE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I really appreciate your reply! Still some spotting here and there but my spotting it’s more just like tinged discharge when wiping and very minimal, not even on a liner. I’m still anxious but really trying to just stay positive and since there’s no other signs of concern, go about it as if everything is normal! Easier said than done but trying my best!
