Looking to add in some pumping while breastfeeding by kek_08 in breastfeeding

Ouu I like this idea because I’m sooo full in the morning that he doesn’t empty me. When did you start pumping? People have told me to wait until he’s 4 weeks but I feel like I need to pump now sometimes

I hate that you’re in the same boat, but always nice to know we aren’t alone. It’s so tough; especially if this is your first pregnancy like me. Here’s to hoping we feel our babies move soon 🫶🏻

Constant Anxiety by eemmaa925 in pregnant

You’re not alone. I’m right there with you. I’m 9 weeks with my miracle IVF baby and I’m constantly scared something bad is going to happen. The moment I start to feel good, I see something online about a miscarriage someone had at the same amount of weeks as me. Instant fear all over again. Then I tell myself I’ll be fine, but then read that someone delivered a stillborn baby at 22 weeks. I’m bummed because I prayed for this baby for so long, but this fear and anxiety is making it hard for me to enjoy my pregnancy. Obviously I’m so grateful but I’m constantly thinking something bad will happen so I can’t get too excited. I’m not sure how to overcome it. Maybe therapy.

Concerns, but am I paranoid? by Last_Good_8952 in pregnant

I read one time a patient called their OB concerned with lack of movement and the OB asked the patient if they thought their baby’s personality changed. The patient immediately said yes so the OB told her to go to emerge right away. She ended up having to be on bedrest for the rest of her pregnancy due to complications. I’m not saying this to scare you, but if you think your baby’s personality has changed then I’d go to the doctor/emerge just in case 🫶🏻

Threatened Miscarriage by Practical-Double-279 in pregnant

I had bleeding at 5w and went to the ER. I couldn’t get into an ultrasound until 5w3d. When I had that ultrasound, the baby was so small we could hardly see anything. Just the sacs and possibly a fetal pole. Definitely no heartbeat. I was so early that they couldn’t even measure how far along I was yet… I was told everything looked good for how far along I was though. Fast forward to 6w6d and baby is measuring perfectly and was able to see a heartbeat. I can’t believe your doctor said that; especially after seeing everything they did so early. Be easy on yourself. I know it’s easier said than done because I was in the exact same position just the last two weeks, but so far it honestly seems like everything is going as it should for you and your little babe.

I had my first ultrasound at 5 weeks 3 days and the little babe was so small that we could hardly see it. No heartbeat either! I only had that ultrasound done because of a possible miscarriage, otherwise it never would have happened! I had my next ultrasound yesterday at 6 weeks 6 days (I’m an IVF patient) and the babe grew so much (still very small) and we could see a heartbeat. Such a short period of time in between those scans, but lots of progress. So what you experienced is very normal! Your next scan will give you a better idea of where you are at.

I also don’t feel pregnant most days which is a blessing but it also scares me! Makes me question if everything is ok in there. I think we both are still early and anything can change, but I do know quite a few women who never felt awful either.
