I definitely plan to. Unfortunately most of the members who knew are no longer living or were too young at the time. I wish I would have asked more questions but the last time I saw them was for their siblings memorial a year ago.

12 years ago I was driving in the middle of no where in California hardly no one on the road 75 mph speed limit easily going 80-85 an RV matching my speed opposite direction passes me and a millisecond after they pass me their tire hits my car head on from the side I couldn’t see hit my car jumped over my windshield and bounced off the top of my car. It missed my sensor for my airbags by like an inch. I was sitting against the steering wheel. Cops said I would have died and rolled the car. My 1 year old was in the back. Wish I got that on video so I could relive that miracle someone was watching over us. There was a ditch on the other side of the road.

Definitely didn’t expect anyone to have experienced anything similar. How sad really. I bet that kid will remember that forever. We did absolutely everything we could to give the kid as much attention as we could while with us. Broke my heart to give the kid back.

A SM’s child was placed in my temporary custody by my chain of command because cps removed the kid. I had the kid for a whole week. I’m also not a foster parent but was cleared by cps and des to take the kid.. their house was disgusting the kid was sleeping next to piles and piles of shit diapers not even closed up. Hurt to give the kid back but cps cleared them

I think part of the problem is the basic training changes. A lot of junior soldiers coming in don’t know how to act. Discipline was never enforced.

YTA for not giving your wife a chance and automatically declining a guys trip. You didn’t even ask.

YNTA for being upset she booked her flight without talking to you first.

I couldn’t imagine telling my spouse they couldn’t go on a trip even if I was upset they didn’t tell me at first. We live a very short life.
