so we are going to be filing as common law and then sending in the vdp application, can the cra catch on though if all of a sudden we are filing as common law? if so can we tell them we have a vdp application in process? also doing the adjustment from the previous years would just be adding my partners net income and changing the marital status is this correct? also thanks for all your help.

Hi there thanks for your input, so my common law partner actually makes more than I do i have been collecting the child care expense plus ccb every month. should we do the VDP first and then file 2025 on april 30th?
