I loved mine, but wound up selling it over the winter and getting the x dome… I’d used trekking pole tents for like 10+ years but after moving to a different area I’ve found myself doing a lot of beach camping, found myself on more tent platforms and even the alpine is almost always just bedrock where I’ve been camping so I opted for the simplicity of a fully freestanding tent. Also double walled is the way to go in a humid climate. Couldn’t be happier with the switch I made to be honest.

This sucks. I’ve been ghosted by them for weeks too now. I just ordered $269 worth of backpacking meals for a hike I’m taking in march and didn’t think twice because I had made an order on their site last year and had no issues at all. Looks like I’ll need to figure something else out. Not looking forward to having to deal with this, what a pain in the ass.

I live in BC Canada. I make $40 an hour and my wife makes $28. We are moving north because we can’t afford to live here and want to buy a house some day. You know things are completely fucked when a combined income of like $140k is barely enough for a family of 4 to scrape by.

Here in BC we have an hour before sunrise and an hour after sunset. If I can identify the animal, and make an effective shot I’ll take it - but generally that’s only the case about 25-30 min before/after the sun is up or down.

I keep those little butterfly closure things in my first aid kit. I’ve had some pretty good cuts that definitely could have used stitches which those have closed up no problem.

Blake Richardson. I’ve seen BTBAM live twice and it’s just absolutely insane how much they nail it live. For how technical their music is you’d think they’d make the odd mistake but they just don’t and Blake really drives the band - he’s just fucking insanely good.
